Did the earth crack open and spit fire in your place of the world? Any aliens in sight? Have you seen Virgin Mary in your morning coffee today?

Report your end-of-the-world sightings here! :D

I actually keep checking the sky, I actually saw something flash, could of been a shooting star though.

I had my fingers crossed for the end, we need something to end the mess, wars, fighting, greed, corruption etc I think we're a disgusting species.

Nothing here yet. Knowing my luck, I'll be asleep when it all happens and miss it.

I think it would be great for this giant clusterfuck of a world to go away, but I know it won't... tomorrow...

P.S.- That's my least favorite R.E.M. song ever.

Then what about this - Twilight Of The Gods, by Richard Wagner, from the Ring:

Death cries are thundering through the skies...

...however, I still had to drive to work.... silly Mayans can't even let me have a decent lie in...

We had that yesterday when we filled up our company truck. Prices rose dramatically over only a few hours, guess the oil companies want to cash in on the end of the world thing as well, eh. :D

Business as usual.

Worst. Apocalypse. Ever.

Yeah, it's a bit lackluster to say the least.

The best bit so far was when I accidentally dropped my coffee mug two hours ago.

Other than that, no fire-spitting cracks in the ground, no aliens with huge almond-shaped eyes, no blood-red skies...

Fekk ya, Maya calendar makers!

Well, just had to get up for work.

Man I'm tired and feel bad though.
I lived way too much last night and am paying for it today.

I stayed up late an went to eat at Denny's.

I had a really good day yesterday...

* got up and went for a walk early in the morning
* had some good coffee and chatted with my fiance before she went off to work
* finished some complicated projects at work
* around lunch time my mom stopped by and brought me some chocolate chip cookies
* after work my friends came over and we played some music...finally got all the way through a new song we have been working on
* ordered pizza from my favorite place

Nothing super special about the day really, but when I went to sleep I was pretty content that I had done the things I wanted to do and made contact with the people in my life that were important. Kind of makes me think I should be aware of these things more often..

we're about 1 hour past the official mayan time for the apocolypse:

It was weird this morning. My dogs weren't very annoying or loud and when I let them out, the skies were really clear. My wife made me an omelete but forgot to put bacon in it. It was delicious, but I didn't stuff my face.

Since it's "the apocalypse", I was a bit worried about dying today and I pondered that as I jumped into my convertible. As I drove into work, I pulled up to a stoplight and checked the mirrors. I didn't see a single criminal today!

A few of my friends called and asked me to play a pickup game... I've been tearing up the courts lately, almost Jordan like.

I saw the cops and they didn't even bother me once! I went to my buddy's place, played craps for a little bit and watched some videos.

Later on, the sky was strangely empty, except for the Goodyear dirigible flying over my house and it said, "VT's a pimp."

I have to say, it has actually been a pretty good day so far.
