Well this was a pleasant surprise, the AES works on my Amiga monitor with the OSSC in passthrough mode :)

Interesting, the NGCD works just fine with the Rad2x on my living room TV (TCL) maybe I just got lucky with that one.

My NGCD works on the OSSC with the Panasonic Hack turned on, so maybe that might fix it for other TV brands too?

In case anyone else runs into this issue, it turned out to be my TV (Panasonic.) I was getting the same behaviour with an OSSC, however that has a 'Panasonic hack' setting which fixes it. Although I'm not sure why it only affects my Neo Geo consoles (as per the first post, my MD works fine.)

I found this video which suggested trying to drip alcohol into the switches and then working it in by pressing the buttons. I gave it a try and has definitely improved it!

My A Button has become quite unresponsive, I have to press it hard for it to register. I opened up the controller, but don't see any obvious way of accessing the button microswitches. I was going to try cleaning with ispopropyl, but there doesn't appear to be easy access to the button mechanism...

Obvious one, but not buying Neo Turf Masters AES when it came out. It's my favourite NG game, but I'm never going to pay 15k+ for a copy. Admittedly I didn't even have an AES back then so this is more hindsight than a regret.
