I think this would've been the most unique fighter on the Neo Geo library had it been released. I compare it with Astra Superstars on ST-V and Saturn, given that both are airborn-based fighters, even though Warlock could have preceded that one by 1-2 years (IIRC).

Hell, have you checked out the RoboCop, R-Type, DarkStalkers, and The Simpsons ports to the Genesis? They also look very promising.

What also helps is the SGDK, the development environment that makes Final Fight MD, SOTN, and the Neo Geo ports possible.

I've been playing Dinoforce on PC Engine and BlaZeon on SNES. Once of these days i'll 1CC Trouble Shooter on the Sega Genesis.

I've been playing Dinoforce from time to time and i'm starting to figure some things out. For example, if you managed to kill a good number of enemies during each stage, you fight against a different Boss. You can also toggle the ship's speed but instead of working like in every other PC Engine...

I like the PC Engine but holy hell, that dude is irrational fanboyism incarnated .

PCEWorks should track down the unreleased PC Engine version of Cocoron and make it available. Hell, instead of doing the shit they pull out, PCEWorks should find more canned PC Engine games, make a physical release, and later release the ROM to the public. A win/win situation for all of us!

After days of tries, i finally managed to snatch a 1CC in Space Harrier. This is the 32X version, which only gives you a single extra life. I did it via the Kega Emulator, as i don't have a 32X yet.

I hope that one gets a second volume! Frank Gasking (the book's author) has also been publishing articles from the book on his website and i highly recommend giving them a read.
