What would I unhook and how would I go about doing that?

    Subwoofer in an MVS cabinet?

Howdy stranger! :D Can you elaborate on what you mean and/or link an example of one?

Yup, PICKnMIX is an awesome feature. I like to leave it running in the background when I'm doing stuff around the house. It attracts me, lol. I usually end up playing something. It's also fun to try to place which game you're hearing at a given time. I'm surprised by how many I know, just by...

    Subwoofer in an MVS cabinet?

Right....I seriously considered just wiring up a tone knob like I would in a guitar...probably the same thing, essentially....except MY Neo would have a fancy Russian vintage paper and oil capacitor tone control, LOL But yeah, I originally wanted to use my old passive sub, laying around unused...

    Subwoofer in an MVS cabinet?

Yeah, like Alec said, I'm curious as well. The one you have is passive/non-powered?

Yes I have one, like I said I've done it before but forgot how. 10 years ago I had a reading of 4.7v. We'll see how it goes now (the same?). I have both stabby probes and recently acquired alligator clip probes (or whatever you call them). I just need to know where and how to stick them. :D

It doesn't appear so. I reset and chose it from the menu and let the attract mode play, and it went through til the end and flipped over to Super Baseball 2020. Also pretty sure I've played NTM on this machine extensively before, on the 161 (could have been on the home cart system tho, with the...

Speaking of attract mode, any idea what's going on here? I can never seem to leave PnM running, because I always come back to one of these. I took the message at the bottom to heart, and in a cloud of Deoxit, I went on a furious flurry of cleaning, both cart & slot (with q-tip and...

Well, sort of correct. The A and B buttons are not "used to cycle up and down through games", the stick is. This added to my confusion, as I believed I needed to hold the aforementioned start button, and use A to navigate up and B to navigate down the list. If I'm going to be using A & B to...

    Subwoofer in an MVS cabinet?

iseewhutyoudidthere 🤣 I also thought about adding one of these cheap passive tone controls between the board and the speakers, so I could bump up the bass a bit without having to figure out how to power something: That should be safe, right? I assume it's stereo and shares a ground pin? I...

    Subwoofer in an MVS cabinet?

Thanks for the reply! Too bad the Unibios doesn't have an onboard EQ setting so you can just dial up the bass in the regular speakers a bit! 😜 🤣

    Subwoofer in an MVS cabinet?

Hello all! I've been thinking a lot about putting a subwoofer in my MVS cab lately (really a Dynamo HS-5). It sounds like it would be a neat thing to do. I thought it would be cool to throw it in the back of the cab, behind the coinbox, so the bass would be coming from inside. I have an old...

It's nothing much, but here it is. I tried to make it in the style of those Chinese product tutorial videos on Amazon, where they spell out everything super simple. :ROFLMAO:

You're the fuckin' man Alec. That worked! ♥️ I'm not sure about the card reader, did he make more than one? IIRC I was one of the lucky ones who got one. AFAIK some genius fried his board putting the cables in backwards, and that was the end of that...for everyone. I can take a pic later if...

That's the part I forgot along the way! LOL I'll post back if I make any progress, but I literally don't know how to add a select button. Like, stick wires in the jamma harness? Oh duh I could hook up a Neo controller right? Plenty of those around here! Can't actually use the machine that way...
