so I tried to use those yoke tabs / convergence strips I recently bought off klov. and they really sucked compared to the WG ones ... barely didn't do anything.

anyone used them ?

Tell me about this toothpick trick. One of my cabs still likes to give me minor occasional arcing, likely due to the flyback or some grounding issue.

The toothpick just got rid of the high pitched whining, it's on bob Roberts site for whiny flyback. Arcing sounds like you might have a cracked fly.

I got a bag I'm fixing to use on one of my net cities I'll let you know how it turns out, stellarola used some and made his monitor mint and I'm pretty sure it's the same ones.

By the way here is my two blasts that are almost complete. They smell clean now and look a million times better.
I got one more in the garage that I may be stuck with but I'm a little burned out on cleaning these, might make a nice fall project though.

Finally took the plunge and joined the candy parade. I picked up a Blast City today, it's supposed to ship Monday; hopefully I'll get it by the end of next week. I looked at several options (Cyber Lead, Net City, Egret II), all online, as the candy cab population in my area is just about zero. The Blast City seemed to fit my wants the best, and I love the design of the cab.

Thanks RoadBuster. If it weren't for WestCB I wouldn't have been :-D I'm super excited to get one or two in the house today and out of the garage. The organizer sent out an email with some discount codes for reproduction panels/graphics for those who were part of the buy. I have to replace all three of my CPs since they are all 1P panels, but they will do just fine for now while I get everyone elses' stuff squared away.

@Chempop, it was. I'm not sure if the organizer is on NEO-GEO, but he arranged a full container of goodies to come over. Couldn't be happier... its so hard to find this stuff on the eastern seaboard.

Jasen can't wait to see your cabs fixed up, but for the record the group buy was Stellarola's group buy, he just let me hang out while he did it really ;-) if he ever does another one I'm definitely in!

You are 100% correct! It was StellaRola's GB. You did let me know about it though... you deserve some credit for helping me get my first (and second, and third) BCs :-D

The GB was done very well and I would be abolsultely onboard with another. Maybe only 1 next time though and something a bit newer... just for some variety!
