Since there's a lot of Gamecube games which I didn't get to play when they 1st came out, I'm starting to buy them again. What're some good ones?

I have right now:

Super Mario Sunshine
SSBM
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Pikmin
Metroid Prime 1
Animal Crossing
Star Wars Rogue Squadron III
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Pokemon Colosseum
Pokemon XD
F-Zero GX
Legend of Zelda: Master Quest
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee
The 2002 remake of Resident Evil
007: Agent Under Fire
Alien Hominid
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Sonic Mega Collection
Mega Man Anniversary Collection
Namco Museum
Sonic Adventure DX
True Crime: Streets of LA
Simpsons Road Rage
Eternal Darkness
Sonic Gems Collection

I might get Custom Robo, Tales of Symphonia, & maybe Baten Kaitos. How hard is Baten Kaitos & Tales of Symphonia by the way?

Multi-platform games that're released on Gamecube also count. I already have Resident Evil 4 on the PS2 though.

Also, what're some good JPN-only Gamecube games that I should get that arn't too text heavy?

PN3 is koll.

Baten Kaitos isn't bad as long as you don't screw yourself over (read: don't under-level). It's possible to lock yourself into a certain late boss fight area at too low a level and not be able to level up. Great card-based combat system, but the story is shallow.

Even if you don't care for Naruto the Gekitou Ninja Taisen series is great.

Very fun Fighter.

Even if you already have the PS2 version of RE4 get the GC version. Its a lot better even if it is missing some of the extras, which I don't feel are even really that great to begin with.

Looks like you already have a lot of the good games on the system, but don't forget Metroid Prime 2 and Zelda: Twilight Princess. I thought Wind Waker was better personally but TP is a good game too. Viewtiful Joe is a good action/platformer, never played the second one. Resident Evil 0 is pretty cool, I think its easily the weakest of the series pre-RE4 but its still fun.

Pikmin and Pikmin 2.

It's Nintendo's best new franchise (and already it's 7 years old.)

Viewtiful Joe
Viewtiful Joe 2
Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess (where Link is, appropriately, LEFT handed as he should be)
Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Advenures
Legend of Zelda: Compilation disc (only came with a certain model GC but you can get at Gamestop or online easily)
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil: 4 (if you don't have the PS2 or Wii version-if you have a PS2 or Wii, get it for one of those instead)
Skies of Arcadia: Legends (HIGHLY recommended-vastly underrated RPG)
Soul Calibur II (LINK!)
Star Wars: Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron II (better than Rogue Squadron III IMO)

Those are the ones I recommend, skimming over my library. If you are a completist like I am and love Resident Evil like I do, grab RE 2, RE 3 and RE Code veronica too.

I'll second the votes for Viewtiful Joe (and its excellent sequel) and Skies of Arcadia. Fantastic games, there.

ps viewtiful joe kinda sucked

Fuck off! The main game and the sequel rock! Admittedly the spin offs (like Red Hot Rumble) were really terrible, but that's it.

But this is the one franchise that Capcom isn't milking to death that I wish they would. I guess it's 'cause they fired everyone behind it. :(

Fuck you.

2 was generic but still good the first was brilliant, hard but more than solid overall. I think there's a 3rd, a vs. fighter or some such bullshit?

Wario World
Wave Race
1080 Avalanche

Flawed yet still enjoyable.

fun fact: would you care to borrow the PS2 version from me upon completing SOTC

ps viewtiful joe kinda sucked

Viewtiful Joe was fun but I thought some of the bosses were frustrating. Particularly the final boss rush pissed me off.

PS: Am I supposed to send you SotC back...I am right?

ahahaah, yes.
I realized we had never said if we were going to return the games a few days ago.
Yes I want my SOTC back! One day I will replay that game, years down the road when I have forgotten how to defeat the colossi, and the experience will be fresh again

If you want a true classic that has a lot of replay value, look no further.
