NEO·GEO WORLD MAT (carpet)

I have been offered a neo world mat recently. The seller insists that this is not a mat and is actually a carpet. The pictures look great, looks like it would make a beautiful floor mat. The only catch is that the seller wants $2000. If I'm to pay $2000 I must be convinced that this not a reproduction and is indeed made from SNK.  The seller claims to have exchanged business cards with the CEOs of Aruze, says there are two of them. His dad held a meeting, and the CEOs of Aruze attended, then he later met up with them at the poker table in Vegas. This is how he acquired the neo carpets (he says he has two in new condition).

I was also offered a solid gold neo coin for $2500.  I don't want to name any names, because if this mat ends up being a fake, this would ruin his reputation with the neo community.

I once made a deal to buy a neo world mat from Dion Dakis for $2000, until he broke the deal and jacked the price to $4000. Use this link for reference:
