So, we went on a nice shopping and then drinking spree last night, and this is what I came back with:

It was an exerise in restraint to only come home with 5 games.. im going to have an even harder time saving any money now.

Had a great time as usual, thanks to tsukae, eight-one, their wives, and jake.

Thanks. I got the whole lot at g-front in Akihabara.
I was actually looking for a 2-slot, but they only had the 6-slot, and it was less than $100.

And as an update: i just hooked everything up and spent the last hour or so playing ss2, last blade and kof98

i'm not totally thrilled with the placement of the 'D' button (its button 4 on the stick).. it works fine for last blade, but not so much for the others.. i may have to figure out some way to rewire it, or make an adapter to switch buttons..

actually, its not so bad.. its a bit deeper than it looks in the pic.
I have a loft as well, and as soon as i get it set up as a bedroom, i'll have plenty of room.

My only real complaints are that the bathroom has no counter space for my razor/toothbrush/etc.
and the kitchen is microscopic (not that i cook much anyways).

some places here are even smaller, with no loft.

tokyo direction is a little smaller than anywhere else as well. my apartment is reasonable... big enough that you wont go crazy but definitely not luxurious
