I don't, but I am wondering who on the forums might?

What year and month did you buy it, and does it still work without flaw... no broken external parts or anything... a flawless working system.

How much use has it had?

Did you buy it new?

My standard top loader model is from 1996 and started as a PAL unit but I modded it to 60Hz/JPN mode soon after. I still use it heavily, sometimes every day but at least 3 days a week for about 1 to 3 hours.

I never had any problem whatsoever. The drive bay hatch is creaking a bit, but otherwise, the thing runs fine ever since (knocks on wood).

Are you talking about Neo CD system or other 16-bit ones?

US DUO
Sega CD

Bought both on release date and they still run pretty good :)

I have a front loader that I bought used in 1997 that has serial number 101. This system has to be one of the first CD systems ever made and it still runs like a champ.

It's a PAL Top Loader, from the original package where I could pick either FF2 or AOF (2?) as the free game.

Mine from 95.

Ex demo from back then Virgin store.

Sumtime works but when reset, i hafta use my other adaptor. I suspect prolly the power trouble.

Thats what I remember a year ago. Now my NeoCD nicely packed back in the box & tucked somewhere safe. Currently I only play my NeoCD with emulator. Plays the same, feels the same & alot faster loading. Cant complain.

Plenty of adaptors

In 1998 I brought a cdf wich serial number was 183. One day it was broken and I sold it. In 2002 I brought another cdf wich serial is 5080. My last cdf is fully functional and in mint condition :) . My first cdf is the oldest serial number than I remember.

I still have my frontloader, which I bought in 94 at the same time as my PS and Saturn. That was a very expensive day. The serial on it is 002459. The two pads still work flawlessy. Recently I bought a UK type PSU instead of running it with a stepdown.
I'm about to sell the CD, as I'm getting a consolised 4-slot MVS board with RGB output, a memory card reader, universal Bios and the LCD credit counters from the MVS cabinet. I'm having someone build it for me as we speak. I've also had a cardboard box and polystyrene made for it so it looks like it could have come out of a shop. There is space for two AES sticks, 2 pads, all the cables and the unit itself. The box even has the SNK, Neo Geo and MVS logos ripped from an MVS cart box. It's gonna be tops dudes.
I'll post some pictures once it's all done.

got mine back in 95 after a friend had hos since 94. i was very impressed but didnt really like the loading times. but i just had to have samurai shodown 2. and after kof 95 was released i was hooked. its a european toploader.

it still works a 100% but ones in a few days the game stops and the screen goes black. in the middle it says: disc error turn system of. or something like that.

the thing is, i jast found a few sites where you can find neo cd games for download. i have about 25 or 30 games. 3 of them are copies and always work fine. since i found this site i copied 4 games, newer ones and after a few rounds or levels i get the disc error. is it cause newer games like LB2, KOF98, MS2 and SSRPG are protected or did i burn them wrong. the 3 copies i had for a long time MS, Pulstar never gave me problems. i did get that screen but only ones in a while. but when i copied SS4 from a friend of mine i could only play for a few rounds. after that you get a new creen that says i should only play original SNK. not copy.

maybe if i mod the system it will work fine....
