I really only collect Japanese games, and from time to time run across a US title or two. I am looking for a really minty MSX and have one hell of a deal, so please read on.
I really want to trade, though if the $ is right I **might** just sell.
The offer is this:
I will trade you my Mint- Metal Slug X US for your Mint- or better Metal Slug X JP.
Before I go to the trouble of taking pictures, I want to see if there is any interest. If so, I will be glad to get some high res shots up.
Bear in mind, I am the toughest grader on the board. My copy breaks down like this:
Cart: Mint-
Manual: Mint
Insert: Near Mint+
Box: Mint-

The cart has LIGHT, LIGHT insertion marks (MSX in all verisons is a "fat" cart so this ALWAYS happens to ALL copies) and a couple of pox on the back from the SNK logo. Still I have purchased new carts from the Neostore that don't look this good. The stickers (gold warning and cart) are perfect and well applied. The manual is flat, crisp and perfect. The insert is not sunfaded and is well cut. Of course, the game functions perfectly from start to finsihs and everywhere in between. I cannot remind people enough: my Near Mint+ to Min- is most people's "Like New". I am that picky. This is a top condition cart and will go well above the book value (and if you JP MSX is top condition, it also will go above book value). Still no matter how you cut it thi cart is rare and gorgeous. ;-)
I will have 1,000 questions about your game and will need to see high res pix. If I like what I see, then I would expect the game to be shipped to me first so I can inspect it and be sure all is good. If there are any issues and I am not happy, I will pay for shipping both ways, 100%. Thus you're out nothing at all. Though I do not expect this to happen.
The trade is one for one. Meaning you get a $650-$700 game for a $450-$500 game.
For every one MSX US that goes up for sale, there are four JP copies. This US title is one heck of a lot rarer AND it goes for about $150-$200 more on average. In other words, this is a good deal for everyone involved; I get what I want and you get what you want. ;-) PM me if interested.
