How easy is it to repair a cabinet exactly? The moniter,
controllers and the board are in great shape - but the
cab itself is kind of banged up.

How easily could I sand and redo the outside of that
cabinet?

What type of sander, paint, stickers etc?

I really want to make this into a work of art. =)

Thanks,

My parents bought it from the guy at his shop for 165.

He's about 25 minutes away, so instead of bidding -
I drove over.

Heya shir0!

Here's what you need:

For sanding / fixing:

* Orbital sander
* Sandpaper - 80, 100 and 220grit
* Rock Hard Wood Putty (for patching up dents and missing pieces of the wood)

For painting:

* General Use Grey Primer (Spray can)
* Automotive-Quality Enamel Spray (or EPOXY, if you can find it in the color you want - epoxy is scratch/rust/dent resistant, really nice finish, like fridges and stuff)
* Low-tac masking tape (3M makes some good one)

Sticker:
* Buy sideart off arcadeshock or ebay
OR
* Make your one, take it to a print shop and have them print it on auto-adhesive VINYL for you - works great and is very nice, sharp and resistant.

I hope this helps giving you a heads-up on how to start :-)
