some specs at least, not much different to a DC, apart from it has more RAM, and loads more Sound RAM, as the sound isn't streamed from GDR.

CPU : Hitachi SH-4 64-bit RISC CPU (200 MHz 360 MIPS / 1.4 GFLOPS)
Graphic Engine : PowerVR 2 (PVR2DC)
Sound Engine : ARM7 Yamaha AICA 45 MHZ (with internal 32-bit RISC CPU, 64 channel ADPCM)
Main Memory : 32 MByte
Graphic Memory : 16 MByte
Sound Memory : 8 MByte
Media : ROM Board
Simultaneous Number of Colors : Approx. 16,770,000 (24bits)
Polygons : 2.5 Million polys/sec
Rendering Speed : 500 M pixel/sec
Additional Features : Bump Mapping, Fog, Alpha-Bending (transparency), Mip Mapping (polygon-texture auto switch), Tri-Linear Filtering, Anti-Aliasing, Environment Mapping, and Specular Effect.
Known games : 6

from system16.com, I took the errors out though
edit: WTF the SH4 is 32 bit for christ's sake... sigh

well ... that's exactly, what i already knew. ;)
thx anyway.

I, too, am looking for information on things such as which JAMMA pin corresponds to button #4, and is that really a VGA port on there?

I am soooo close to ordering a kit.

What games are you thinking of getting. I want to try out Dolphin Blue because i'm a sucker for run 'n gun type games.

I would prefer Dolphin Blue, because I haven't played it before and it looks pretty damn cool. However, the kit costs almost twice what the GGX 1.5 kit costs, so I'll probably go that route.

Anyone notice it uses 5 buttons (Guilty Gear X), kinda like Time killers and bloodstorm. This might mean there is no kick harness needed. :D

Yeah, but I'll probably still have to wire them to the kick harness on my supergun, I'll bet.

Maybe I'll just order an Atomiswave kit and figure it out when it arrives.

Well, I ordered my Atomiswave kit this morning.

I guess I'll get to look at the manual when it arrives. :)

There is a UK distributor doing English language kits, it's more expensive but I'm quite tempted.

They might be able to answer your questions though.

It arrived! I don't own a scanner, and my digicam is shitty for close-ups, but here are some pics:

Notice the serial number on the cart was already removed by CoinOpExpress from my brand new kit? ;)

hehe

It's like one of those old childrens' toys, with different shaped blocks and holes to put them in. It helps prepare us for things later in life; not just videogame consoles. ;)
