Japhei told me that he has these. Said they have mx flash chips on them, whatever that means.

I'm sure alot of cheap ops will buy these...sad.

Would you be able to access AES mode and stuff on the boot carts with unibios? Seems like you couldn't since it's dumped from the Jamma board, but I don't really know about that stuff. I've already got my board so I'm not in the market for the cart, just curious so no flames.

Shit, I plan on buying the board, and if I see someone else selling the bootleg, i'll buy one of those too. It's just STUPID for them to ditch one of the main reasons arcade ops chose the MVS....Lets say it again M-V-S Multi Video System.

I don't like the fact that I was thinking about buying a AES cart. Is there an AES to MVS convertor? Kind of a reverse engineered Phantom-1. I myself really want a MVS cart of this game, not a f**cking Jamma board that I have to disconnect my 4-slot from. I know WHY they did it that way, but why did they even bother. It seems almost by making the game a Jamma board they ENCOURAGED people to bootleg it into cart form. If they were going to make the AES form of it from the begining, they should have offered a choice of Jamma/PCB and MVS cart form first. Stupid in my opinion. I love the cart form as well since it protects the PCB's inside and makes it much more durable than a flimsy PCS/ Jamma board. The only thing now is that if I want a "MVS" kit I can't get an "offical" one I have to Make one. I got into the whole MVS thing when Mantastic Neo-geo Freak said the KOF 2000 AES cart was a real US cart and Overcharged people for it. Now I'm afraid this my happen again in the MVS market but just with another wolf in sheeps clothing.....oh brother........I am undecided if I would get a bootleg kit or not. If it was infront of my face for a good price....i'm sure I would probably bite just so it could play it in the 4-slot.......bad move by Playmore if you ask me....

Well, it kept it in control long enough for SNKP to sell out of their initial run and make some cash. I'd say 2 months is a pretty good achievement by bootlegging standards. And yes there is a dual Jamma harness out there if you want to connect 2 boards at the same time, there was some on ebay last night. Because god forbid you have to switch game boards, I mean it takes all of I'd say 20 seconds tops.

heh, that feedback has gotten more attention than anything I've ever posted here.

I left that about a KOF '98. I figured if I wrote something too mean, or left a negative, he'd just petition Ebay, and get it removed. I can hear his excuses now "It's not a boot, it's the malaysian version...very rare...he really got a great deal"

But, unless it's a REALLY severe repair job, it's a boot.

Lots of people seem to think I got a SvC from him. I'm not buying that until After the homecart release, when I'm sure SNK isn't releasing an MVS cart, and after the price drops a little. I've just got other things to spend my money on right now.

So it's okay because you THINK everyone pirates things? First of all, as already has been said, it's a lot different to DL a rom and to PAY FOR a bootleg. Second, many people don't pirate, ever. It's just internet freaks like you who think it's acceptable and normal.

I do not own a bootleg and I do support SNKP by buying their MVS boards (A few people have bought some from me on this board), but regarding Bootleg vs. Rom I do not see any difference. As well as MP3 from Kazaa, Divx, Ripped games and softwares...

Come on people ! who here does not have a downloaded mp3, a burned game, a crack for some Microsoft soft or other illegal stuff on his comp?

I personnaly think Rom and bootlegs are the same thing BUT... I do not think you should pay bootlegers that high a price: pay for the plastic case and the eproms that's it ($30).

I personnaly own a few Mp3, not one burned game, not one bootleg, not one divx and a couple cracked soft and I believe that most of you own a lot more illegal stuff than I do

So please : the person that does not have any single illegal material at home post here and tell me not to download mp3, rom or rip a cd

I do not think bootleg are a good thing but why do most of you tolerate burning game for your PS2, Xbox and not get a bootleg for your NEO? Stop being hypocrites it is the same exact thing.

TO CONCLUDE: Wait and buy the MVS board you'll get a nice box, marquees and will support programmers. (I would hate my boss to come to me one day and tell me that he has to let me go because the clothes I sell have been knocked off and he does not make any money to keep me... do the same for programmers, Yes that includes SONY, MICROSOFT and others).

there really isnt resolve to whos right and whos wrong. Many people are simply voicing themselves who have done NOTHING but support snk but want this damn game on a cart. Now its been said time and time again Playmore doesnt support or acknowledge the home mvs user, so what goes on with those people an what kind of carts they have to get in situations that leave them no choice shouldnt matter to anybody. What matters is selling things while trying to pass them off as real. Conversions?!!?! whos going to sit here and tell me their ok because some how they are real? first of a few homecarts lose their life to this process then people sell these for $325!! and people buy them why? because they HAVE to have teh home version of something that doesnt exist, sort of like the MVS user who wants the damn cart.

Either way, they will have no choice but to release carts After Oct 9th.

The boots will be selling left and right and at a higher price than the AES cart and SNK will be helpless to stop the bleeding at that point but to release the carts.

I personally want the AES because this is one of the few games I want for the artwork, ect.
