just wondering what the differences were (if there was any)
since it hit me as a random thought and i thought
i could try to pick ya'lls brains.
is the NEO cd one better?
i never had the pleasure of playing the first on cd
but I do have the saturn one.

I never played the CD version, but I have played the Saturn and home cart versions, and I can say that there is a noticable difference between the two. I've heard that the Neo Geo cd version is a great port or the cart version, so I would think that the cd version would be better than the Saturn version, plus I'm pretty sure that the Neo Geo CD has alot more ram than the Saturn anyway.

The SAT version (more so the PSX port) has a quite muffled sound output, but overall, the SAT port is better than the PSX version due to better 2D performance.

The NGCD version is great, but it has cuts, several objects are missing, but nothing you could shoot on or get points for, so the gameplay remains unaltered from what I've seen. It also has additional stuff (gallery, etc.).

IMO, the NGCD one is the best of the ports.

If you want to know ALL about Slug 1 and the differences between the different versions, ask Gemant, he's a real Slug pro.

thanks,
i was wondering if there were reasons for me
to hop on the NEO cd version.
i totally forgot about the galleries and i think
the training mission mode?
yea i think so.
just wondering because i was playing my sat version
and for some reason i felt underwhelmed.
lack of animation for some things and the sound
might have been off too i guess.
thanks guys.
