How many of you would pre-order it?

Say if it was a cool game?

and say if it was "just another title" type of game...

I am just curious... :)

I'd have to be something big for me to pre-order it. I really don't think that they could put anything out on the Neo CD that would be worth a pre-order.

That would depend for me what the game was, and if it wasnt overly priced....i.e. it cost the same as a new game (give maybe £5) did when they were properly on sale first time around.

If it were a fighting game then proberly not, i'm having real loading pains lately that i just cant be botherd to turn the machine on.

Considering that I preordered Metal Slug 2 back when NeoCD's were being released... :p

I would probably go for some of the games that were never released on NeoCD but could conceivably fit:
8Man, SpinMasters, ShockTrooper(s), Blazing Star...

lets just say a price tag of $50-60.

I am just curious.. this is for myself... I highly doubt they would ever release another cd game.

Unless... judgement day comes... or... we have a blue moon... or something else.

Magical Drop 3 would make an ideal CD release, seeing as the home cart is so expensive. That game hasn't left my 2-slot since I bought it!

If somebody were to translate SSRPG and re-release it on NGCD, I'd be there with money in hand in a second. Sure, the load times would still suck outloud (unless of course they figured out a way to reprogram it to shave off load times without hurting the game in any way), but with graphics and what I'm sure is a great story (come on, it's Samurai Shodown, that counts for a lot already) I'd suffer them gladly.

I've gone and ran some screen grabs of SSRPG through photo-shop and really zoomed up on them to analyze the detail. I have to say, those artists knew what the hell they were doing, and it'd be a shame if more people couldn't enjoy all their hard work.

Well, me personally, would love to see NEO MR DO finally get a CD release, as it was planned in september 96.

I would gladly pre-order almost anything just to breathe some new life into my cd, Its baffling why they dont continue with it, but still carry on with the other systems - considering just how cheap it would be!!

I think we should petition SNKP to re-release some old SNK classics for the CD "SNK LEGACY SERIES" first off would be "Prehistoric Isle 1930's".

The low meg count games like Zupapa, Neo Bomberman, and Puzzle De Pon would rule on CD. Why in the hell was King of the Monsters never released on CD when KOTM 2 was? It makes me upset everytime I think about all of the Neo Geo games that never got released on CD.

One of the reasons for that is the games just keep getting bigger making the load times worse and worse. This was the kind of system that needed more ram and a faster cd drive. What if they made a new version of the Neo Geo CD system with faster load times (Dreamcast like) and more ram?

Wasn't Zentrick ripped from a CD and converted to cart? Based on that it should be possible to get hold of ROM image and convert it so it will play on the Neo Geo CD......

I wouldn't think twice about it.

Come to think of it, it's kinda sad that SNK didn't know how to exploit the format to the max. Yeah, it's great to be able to play most of the SNK gems on it, but just imagine what would have happened if there would have been more third-party support from companies other than Saurus or Video System.

I'd probably pre-order just about anything for Neo CD as long as the price is reasonable. I mean, I'm not going to pay $80+ for something obviously terrible. Though I hope any new releases wouldnt come close to that price.

If it stuck below the $50 mark, then I would say yes.

Hell, I'll probably buy that Super Fighter if and when it comes on NeoCD. I know that game will be terrible, but hey its a new CD game.

Yeah, I wonder what happend with it. It really isn't that good, at least the PC version sucks a lot, but a NGCD port would be a cool project that's worth supporting IMO.

Man, I wish Playmoa would re-release some CD games, the Slugs, TSS, Ninja Master's, oh, and Brikin'ger to give ppl a chance to try this bleh shooter for a reasonable price.

Definitely and if the price is $50.00 to $60.00 I would do it.

are you fucking shitting me.
man, I would pay up front with the quikness.
I would also gladly pay more than the going rate for cd games when they were being released.
a new release on the neo cd (non-homebrew) is some thing I still dream about till this day.
it would have to have the same packaging and spine card as the other neo cd releases though. if it were different packaging, I would be pissed..

Kizuna Encounter or Blazing Star.

Those two games desperately need to be playable on something other than the home system or MVS.

Kizuna minus the tagging?

or maybe press D and wait 30 seconds, or possibly even have 1 inch high sprites :)

Well, that was the reason, as many thought.
