I've got my 6-slot MVS conected to a Super Nova, and have a few questions. 1) How do you switch between slots?
I have a Neo-Geo game pad hooked up, and I heard select is used, but it isn't working.
The select up/down is not cyclable so you have to have up and down connected. On the jamma connector that fits onto the Mvs board pin d(lowercase)(down) and 26 (up) have to be wired up. If you take a wire from each of these and touch it to an earth (pins A,1,B,2,e,27,f,28) you will move between slots , though adding a button would make it easier to the front of the supergun for both
Does the board itself have stereo output ? Do you need a special cable?
No you dont need a special cable as it all comes through the jamma harness
It looks like I could hook up the memory card slot, is it worth it?
I suppose it depends on if you have a Home system as well. Does the MVS hold its memory when switched off?
If anyone knows any of this, or would like to offer some advice please LMK. It looks great with the s-video cable, and sounds good when I turn my stereo to surround sound. Blazing Star rules !
