Does Metal Slug 4 MVS Kit work on a Blue Phantom?

Hi:

I was wondering if anyone had trouble with Metal Slug 4 MVS working on a New Blue Phantom Conveter? If not, I am buying a Phantom and MS4 MVS Kit. If so, then I am buying the MS4 US Cart.

Blue Phantom ? What's the difference with that and a Phantom1 ? o_O

The Blue Phantom is the newest revision of the Phantom-1 Converter. There is also Black and Green, if I remember correctly.

From what I've been told it's just a comestic change, no different from the original one, not like an "upgraded" version or anything.
That's why it sounded a bit weird to me that you mentioned its color. :p

It is kinda upgraded. Some games have issues on the older models. Not a cosmetic change!

I will keep you posted on the MS 4 compatibillty issue,as I might be getting a blue phantom-1 converter soon.

Alright!!!

I've just put my MVS slug 4 in with the blue Phantom...

The game just keeps loading the front screen and won't let me play the game!!!

DAMN!! I tried the blue phanton with some of my other MVS carts like blazing star and Senkogu 3 and it worked perfectly...

So, unless I got a bootleg cart of Metal slug 4 (which I doubt... well I think it's GENUINE!!)... then the answer to your question is NO you can't play Slug 4 MVS on a Blue Phantom... crying

GOOD thing I've got a Consolidized MVS/Jamma setup eh? buttrock

I thought so. Thanks for the info. I guess I am getting MS4 on AES Cart. Anyone else try????
