Hi all,

I made this thread so we can all share our cheap tricks on wooping SNK bosses. He/she can be from any game.

I'll start with KOF2001 (these are my own).

Zero:

K' :
90% of the time Zero seems to give you a free shot at the beginning of a match. Do super short jump CD and continue pressuring him into the corner. Once in the corner you're set. The moment he gets up do QCF+A--F+D and then hit him in the air (I use CD cuz it knocks him down). Keep on doing this and you should win.

Occassionally (this is kinda rare) he hits you with his cloak or does a DM. But usually after quite a few hits he blocks your QCF+A--F+D. Just as he does that do a c.D immediately. He ate it %100 of the time. After that repeat QCF+A--F+D. Rinse and repeat. I wooped his ass 3 on 1 like this. Very easy.

Igniz:

Kensou:
This method is VERY easy and fool proof once you get Igniz in the corner (which in itself isn't a very easy task). If you play with the time on I suggest getting him in there as fast as possible because he will win with time otherwise (if you are using a 3-1 or 4-1 ratio). Usually I try to roll past an attack, throw with D, run forward jump CD (which doesn't always connect) or if you're quick/close enough do a QCF+C right in front of him.

You are now set for victory. The moment he gets up do QCF+C. If you are good with timing you can make all three of Kensou's hits connect. But if you are not or simply don't care just do QCF+C just as he is getting up. Unless you time it as I mentioned earlier the 1st and 3rd hits will almost always miss. The second hit connects %100 of the time. Unlike Zero Igniz never retaliates. Just keep on doing this move and prepare to throw your head back and laugh.

Now its your turn,

Super King Leo:

When the match starts block like crazy and work your way to the far left. This will make King Leo jump at you. When he hits the Apex of the jump, hit standing C (weapon attack) to knock him down to the floor (never misses). If this fails with your prefered character, an anti-air always hits too. Walk over to his fallen body and when he gets up, Throw Him. Again, works every time. Repeat till death. You can take him down in about 20 seconds this way.

Rugal first form- jump with a light punch or light kick towards Rugal.
The moment you land infront of him, grap/slam him, keep slaming him to death.
(Any player can use this trick)
Works best for clark or ralf using Argentine Back Breaker.

Rugal second form- stand at the corner and kneel down, Rugal will keep using his fireball(reppu ken), use A+B to avoid and when he jump towards you, just use down + C to hit him.
Repeat till he is dead, works for all players.

Kain usually really won't do anything unless you jump into the air, otherwise when he gets close enough he pulls his CD move because that's where his topset is. You can easily woop Kain with Marco Rodriguez (AKA Kushnood Butt). All you have to do is when Kain gets to within reaching distance of your lightning kick (the horizontal one, not the one that launches you in the air) perform the move, and Kain will definitely be knocked down. Then launch a slow fireball and Kain will get hit by it when he stands up. You can repeat this and Kain will fall for it everytime. Do watch out for his S Power and P Power desperation moves though, he won't hesitate to use them so be prepared to Just Defend.

SS1:
The ancient technique of getting a free round off Amakusa: hit him once, then jump backwards, then keep jumping up and down. Amakusa should also start jumping in place. Repeat until time out.

SS2:
If you're enough of a sissy to neat to cheat against Mizuki (one of the few good fighting game bosses in history), use the ninja shadow copy (f, hcf + button), then mozu otoshi/strike heads immediately afterwards. She falls for it pretty consistently.

AOF2:
To beat Mr. Big, Geese, or ANYONE in this game, dash up to them and throw with C, then stand over them and immediately do a projectile (qcf+A/qcb+A) attack on them as they get up. They won't block. They're now dizzy. Run up and throw them again. Repeat. Again, this works for any CPU opponent, not just the bosses.

KOF '96:
Stay the hell away from Goenitz and keep his POW meter empty by triple-taunting him. Wait for him to start charging, then beat the crap out of him (he won't defend himself if you hit him while he's charging).

KOF '98:
Pick a character with a slow full-screen projectile, and keep throwing the weak A-version projectiles at Rugal. Sometimes he blocks, sometimes he reflects, 90% of the time, he gets hit by it like an idiot. You can win just by doing this over and over.

In KOF 96, for the longest time the only way I could beat Goenitz was to use Robert and through his fireball that doesn't move and Goenitz will actually jump into it, every time. It's kind of funny watching him kill himself basically.

first form: I don't remember..

second form: Stay at the corner and keep taunting him by pressing the start button. When his special move meter is empty he will re-charge it fulll, at this moment run to him and do a combo. Go back to corner and immediately taunt him to drain his meter again and repeat.

God Rugal CAPvsSNK2

Using Joe you just wait for him to get in your face and start any one of his moves then use a light tiger kick, rinse repeat. It has cheapness priority and if you can do it quickly you can knock rugal out of almost everything. It works with Ryu/Ken dragon punch as well.

These work for me:

Abubo in RotD-

If you have problems defeating him and really want to cheap him out, use Radel and constantly do his dragon punch move (f,d,df+A/C), one after another, but make sure to slightly alter timing for every try (wait a fraction of a sec before doing the next one, etc.). Eventually, Abubo opens his block and Radel's dragon punch will send him flying into the right wall. Dash in and do a DM or hit him with a Team Duplex.

Johann in RotD-

With a projectile chara, back out a screen length as soon as the fight starts, then throw weak fireballs at him. He will try to roll through it, jump in for a jump-D, then immediately crouch for a crouching-D. Back out a screen length, rinse, repeat. Aside from that cheesy technique, Radel's qcb (hcb?)+P command throw is also useful against Johann.

Geese, Krauser and Ryo in FFS-

So, you hate FFS because you get beaten every time? Just choose Jubei and start throwing cookies (charge b,f+A/C), then either wait for the opponent to close in and do crouching-D sweeps, do a line-sway or do a jumping-B into a crouching-D. While the opponent is still in his hit anim, throw some more cookies or rush in for a Nihon Seoi Dash (charge b,f+B/D). Jubei is a Monster in FFS, you can wipe the asses of every CPU opponent on every diff setting with him quite easily. Joe's Tiger Kick and of course Terry's Rising Tackle is also very useful here if you just want to advance in the game or unlock Ryo.

Krizalid in KoF2k (2nd form)-

Roll through his projectile/whirl, grab and throw or combo him. If you back out to the left, he will start throwing whirls, then closes in for some of his kicks. Block them and punish him after rolling through/behind him. Don't super-jump at him or he will catch you with his "grabbing" kick.

Another 2k1 O.Zero tactic (works with projectile users)-

Back out and start throwing fireballs for a couple of hits, then close in. O.Zero will do his cape uppercut most of the time. Roll through it (requires a bit of practise) and punish him. If you use Takuma, you can throw some fireballs, do the roll technique, and after you have at least one stock you can back out for a nice Haou Shikou Ken (f,hcf+P).

Double Dragon-

...just use Abobo! :)

ROTD - Johann

Just knock him down, it´s a plus if you can knock him down in the corner. Jump at him and do a jump C or D just while he´s rising, then go on with a combo. He´ll loose his guard an a 4-5 combo and especially if you mix low and high attack. Repeat into infinity, add DM´s and SDM´s to make the process quicker.

Johann is not very hard.

When match starts hold left, when you're in corner call neo&geo (continue to hold left), Zero ramains trapped in the other corner 'till time over.

I got a pretty cheap way to beat Johann from ROTD. Use Sonia and just keep doing her qcb + D move one after another, no pause. Johann will keep blocking and you will gain power stocks. If Johann comes in close hit him with a duplex combo. Switch back to Sonia when the tag gauge is full and just repeat the whole proccess. Sometimes time will run out, but you will still win because your health will total more than his.

KOF'94- Here's a fairly cheap way to defeat Rugal using King (2nd form). Do Venom Strikes using the B button at full screen distance. Usually Rugal will try to reflect them but for some reason he'll often goof and get hit.

If you feel lucky and can get the motion off in a pinch, you can try a Double Strike instead.

KOF'96- Mai vs. Chizuru: Hyperjump over Chizuru and she'll attempt an uppercut. CD her on her way down.

FFS- Joe vs. Krauser: Stay just outside sweep range and prepare to slide under Krauser's high Blitz Ball when he throws one.

Fatal Fury 1- Joe vs. Billy Kane: When Billy Kane is waiting for another Sansetsukon, get in his face and begin a Bakuretsuken.

FF1- Terry vs. Geese: When Geese is getting ready to throw a Reppuken, perform a Burn Knuckle. Do it right when you hear Geese call out the first syllable. Gets him every time. lol

Hye, im new here but im a neo fan for 13 years now.

but back to the subject, i know a cheap way of whooping geese's ass with ease in ff1. it works with all the characters and in every diffeculty.
it dousnt matter if you've got terry, andy or joe.
just walk towards geese and trow him. repead this. even if he is trying to hit you or do his reppuken you will still trow him. he's even trowable from a distance that would make zangief geleous.

in kof97 just walk to orochi and perform a hard kick. its better if you use tall characters with far reaching D's. i.e. iori, kyo and especially yamazaki. you should kick him as soon as your in kicking range. with yamazaki you can also add a snakefist after his far reaching hard kick. when he's stunned perform a big combo or a supercombo to beat the shit out of him.

And here's my way of wooping Saishu with Mai/King/Yuri:

Put Mai first in your team order. When the fight with Saishu begins you can keep him at bay by repeating the Ryuenbu over & over.

He doesn't like to mess with this and would rather block it, taking 1 tick of damage each time. Rarely, he'll mess up and eat the Ryuenbu. Just keep this up without fail and you should win on Time Over.

sorry I still need an even cheaper way to beat that Ingiz fart

I find that if you take 1 char and go all out attack you win ration over him should be at least 65%

but he's still a bastard
can't one of the chars just slide attack him I think it may have been kula I forget
