Just curious to see what you guys are going to do with your SSVS carts. My big questions is: Are the current unrevised AES carts complete with all the Zetsumei Ougi moves and general fatalities but just locked away or did Playmore have them removed before shipping? I'm just afraid that all the goodies are in the cart and that if you have your carts "updated," Playmore will remove all traces of brutality from the cart before they return it to you.

There's no option to vote where you won't even buy it in the first place. :envy:

I truly believe you are correct sir.
Playmore had a release deadline to meet and not only did they meet the schedule,they shipped the home version early so I KNOW from their track record of being LAZY that they did'nt take the time to sort through the game code and destroy the main concept.
They did exactly as they stated,they locked the violence level to 1 for home systems across the board. Another LAZY decision.

I've only played the PS2 port, got the special edition Japanese package. I like it quite a lot, but I dunno if the CPS2 is worth the price... Of course if you are in the league of Home carts and have a cab is another story.

Well the street fighter anniversary A and B board brand new are the same price as zero special on mvs..
So I cannot make my mind up which to get for my cab....
I cannot see the mvs price dropping if there is only 1000 out there, I am not sure if zero special is worth $700, it does not seem that good to me fatalities or not.....

Personally I'd just buy SSF2X over the Hyper Anniversary edition, I've played the latter quite a lot but only ever pick the X chara's anyway. You only ever fight X charas too.

I'm only gonna send my cart back if there is a 100% gaurantee that the Fatalities will be back.

Don't know about the board, but in the PS2 version, you only get to see the X ending for your character as well, no matter which version of character you pick.

Fatalities = overrated.

Seriously, they're only really cool for what ? the first 200 hundred times you see them. Even the fatalities in the MK series got to the point they weren't worth throwing in the code real quick to me. After that you use the fatality scene as a chance to swig on a drink or light a cig. I can see how people who paid feel cheated, but the glitches are the real downfall.

Technically, I think you're right. But I also think that most of us are mad at all this out of principle, and that the game; is frankly unfinished, incomplete, and not the true arcade version. It goes against what NEO was founded for.

I miss the option: I'm starting to care less and less.
