I won a Naomi in ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6106875370&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

And I've picked it up today. To my surprise, it came with much more wires than it really needed. Those extra wires form a "JAMMA test rig", a device to use arcade pcbs without a cab. It is very simple. It has a JAMMA harness connected to a bunch of molex connectors. The video is connected to the small green box in the pic, inside there is a RGB->NTSC convertor (which is made with a piece of PCB and a Sony CXA114SP chip) that supplies composite video via a RCA jack. You should be able to plug this into a TV and get a picture. The rest of the molexs are for audio, controls and power, you must plug there the appropriate devices. I guess you could replace the RGB->NTSC convertor with a better one like a JROK.

You can more or less see it here:

Since I have no need for this, I'm selling it "as is", as I have no way to test it right now. I want to sell it before I leave Canada in 2 weeks, since I have no plans on bringing this with me back to Barcelona.

I'm selling this for 30$US+shipping from Canada, but I am open to offers. I could also trade it for a MVS cart, 1 or 2 GBA (Lunar, FF Tactics...) games or 1 or 2 GC games. Paypal is the only payment I can accept, and I won't charge any fee for it.

Remember that this is untested and is sold with no warranty that it will work. It is also not plug and play, so only people who understands how this stuff works and is able to make it work should consider it. To make this work you need to connect a PSU to one molex connector, a controller to another one, and speakers to another (all these things are not included). Only the JAMMA harness with all the wires and molex connectors, and the RGB->NTSC convertor, are included.

This thing really must go soon, so I'll take the first reasonable offer.

Thanks.

Cool deal, Amano, both for you and the buyer.

I wonder how in the world you'd take that on a plane...

Well, yes, my intention is to put the Naomi and I/O inside of my luggage, with my clothes, but all those messy multicolored wires would be fun under the X-rays... :loco:
That's why I want to get rid of this.

I wonder if there is a way to maybe ask the airport and airlines to give you a letter or something that you can show to guards explaining your multiwire thing isn't a bomb... there's gotta be some way to bring around a thing like that.

Never, never say "bomb" in an airport or plane :loco: I guess that when I check my baggage I can tell the clerk that there are some electronic devices on it... Anyway I've got MVS carts and some "cabled" devices (computer accessories, etc) in my checked baggage without problems before.
