I just recently noticed a sticker on the inside of my MVS-4-25 stand-up cab. Its a Amusement License sticker for 96/97 for the state of Nebraska(was on the inside of the glass). Considering my cab was made in Cali and im in Colorado, that means my cabs been to 3 different states. Kinda like a Passport stamp. I wondered if anybody else has a history or interesting things about there cabs that might give them a clue as to there past travels? *Don't flame me for posting here, i wasn't sure just exactly where to post this* ...and its just a general observation that i thought others would enjoy.

Mine had an op sticker for Georgia in it, don't remember the date but I think he had had it from release until he brought it to the auction in TN.

I have this sticker on the back of my Big Red Cab..(Neo Geo 4 slot MVS Dedicated)

MKII.jpg

My cab came from this 3 KOAM Company in Fremont CA. and then..

I know the Guy who I bought The Big Red and Tekken 3 got them from the nearby to him Betsons..in N.J.
I have no clue to where the cabs where otherwise..

I don't have this sticker on the back of the Tekken 3 cab..

But,I have the same sticker on the back of my Neo Geo Gold 2 slot cab..(This cab being bought later in time from someone in N.Y.)

So both my Red and Gold cabs were at this CA company at one point in time..

I don't know anything about this CA 3 KOAM company, maybe there were the Company making the cabs for SNK (?)

All Neo cabs I have seen have that sticker on them, I believe its the distributor. The operator licenses are usually underneath the glass on the bezel if they're there. It gives them the license to operate a machine for profit in the state.

I bought a Donkey Kong Cab here in Illinois, it had a 1989 Op sticker on it from Mississippi in it, never been stuck.

3- Koam did a lot of subcontracting, packaging, and assembling of arcade games. They probably did the whole assembly on the US MVS cabs.

My 4-slot has that 3 Koam on it as well as a few op stickers from Kansas and a few other places. I'm too lazy to look at all of them right now.

I found out from Nightmare Tony when we were trying to figure out what some things on the inside of the control panel meant one was WSI which Tony said was Wood Systems, Inc. Not sure if they just made all the parts and then 3-Koam put it together or what, just throwing out ideas :p

PS Briggs, got like 27 of 35 pages done of the IM manual.

Da

My MVS board had a sticker on it saying, "From Russia, With Love." Weird thing is, I live nowhere near Russia!

Anyhow, the sticker was verified as authentic when my MVS board began drinking heavily and enslaving the rest of my home consoles into a communistic video game society.

I beleive "from russia with love" was a slogan on tetris games..... So it probably was a tetris cab,

All i know about my neo can is that it was used at syracuse university as it still has a SU inventory tag.

Anyone know if these are required in specific or all states in the US?
