I'd like to reiterate some of the rules on the Market Forums, in particular these two:

Mouse_Master said:
4. As a courtesy to other members, no member should have more than *1* active sale/wanted thread per forum. If you have an active thread in each forum (for 3 total) that is fine. Also, threads posted that are for Auctions should be appropriately identified, same as items being for sale directly. Do not deceive members by using a vague subject line to get attention, these threads will be deleted.

7. As a courtesy to other members, do not disrupt any threads in the market area. If you had a bad transaction with an individual, you are allowed to post your experience in their sales thread, but make sure to point out the original thread here where the transaction took place. If you post in a thread because of a personal dislike of an individual, your post will be deleted, and you may be banned for a period time, or indefinitely.

Mostly, I'd like to have people be more aware of these rules. Typically, these are the most abused of the rules and cause the most problems particularly in the Selling Forum.

As far as spam goes, cautionary notes are fine, including outrageously high prices, traditionally poor packing, late shipping, non-delivery, and the like. But please just try to make your point and get out of the thread. If a thorough discussion is warranted, please take it outside of the thread and post it elsewhere. In the future, a "Feedback" Forum may be added to the site as a place for all the "Great Seller", "Bad Seller" type threads.

That is all

I'd love to see that feature implemented, that would be a whole lot more useful than what we have now, threadss like those drop down after a week or so, and then it's useless for anyone looking to see if such and such is a good/bad user.

Perhaps we could put it in the "Profile" section for every individual? Like have a Chart of Sending Time, E-mail responses, etc...

However, a chart or something like it to record transactions would become labor intensive. GameTZ has such a system in place, and it was once free, but is no longer...

Werd! I posted that suggestion in teh Suggestions section about a month ago. I only hope it happens just to cut back on the spam/Feedback.:buttrock:

Look in my Sig-A-Majig, there's a link to people I've dealt with. IMO I have a good system (sorry to brag)

Perhaps have this kinda integration with vBulletin, where in a person's profile (maybe in a separate link elsewhere on the forum) there's a bunch of categories of people he's dealt with (traded/bought from/sold to/got giveaways from/gave giveaways to), and he can add members added to the section (with a link to their profile; like maybe similar to adding people to your buddy list is how this'd work), and comments on the transaction. Additionally, in their profile, there will be a link to comments others have left for him. AND! Similar to fields for your Messaging program screen names, a link to GameTZ, eBay, Amazon.com, Half.com (etc etc... man I miss switchhouse.com, on that note) feedback pages.

So it'd be like this:

Person X's "dealt-with" (feedback for others) profile:
Sold To Person X:
Person Y (with profile link)- "Great Seller! I asked him to ship first and he did, and included extras!" (this would be in a sort of "mini text field" with scrollbars, so it won't take up tons of room).

(Link to Person X's eBay profile)
(Link to Person X's Yahoo! Auctions profile)

-----
Person Y's N-G.com feedback (for himself, by others) profile:
The following people have left comments:
Bought From Person Y:
Person X (with profile link) - "Great Seller! I blah blah..."

Sold To Person Y:
Person G (with profile link) - "Sent payment slowly, but otherwise fine."

Traded With Person Y:
Person F (with profile link) - "Terrible trader, items NOT as described!"

I know this sounds confusing, but if you kinda try and visualize it, I think it can work.

(EDIT: Apparently I accidentally hit "Insert" while proofreading my post, if there's anything that doesn't make sense then let me know.)

Edit2 04/20- Yeah I read through this and clarified it a tad, the feedback forum is cool, but this way would be more standardized...
