T_Smallz, aka Tom Smallwood, sold me a Zintrick MVS cart. He told me that it was legit and was not a boot. I have now found out that it in fact IS a boot. When I asked for a refund, this is the response I got:

There is no such thing as a Zintrick boot as the game was never released. There will be no refund as the game was exactly as described and you dumped and released the rom to everyone.

Im going to be filing mail fraus and a number of other things on Friday, ill give you till then to give me a refund.

Sorry you got burned! I hope you get all of your money back! If indeed the guy said it was from an expo and it's obviously not, then you were lied to and that is a "SCAM" in my book. If that is really how things went, I hope you get your money back!

Why would I pay that much for it, when I COULD get a boot for a 3rd of the price? There are people out there selling copies for $300.

When was he a member of NGF? Ive had a few transactions with him before and they went well. I had no reason to think he was a bad guy.

Check the DHP and search the forums, Dion had a supposedly huge MVS deal with him and I posted the DHP message up a few months ago.. can't find it, but if you scan the DHP it's there.

He's acknowledged this himself, btw.

It just does not make sense to me that you would buy this game and then turn around and sell it on ebay.

However, it was a little odd to me that you would post the boards of the game on your ebay account.

If you truly did not know it was a boot, I highly recommend you start researching bootleg games. Those pics you posted were an OBVIOUS boot. I have seen some that were significantly harder to recognize.

This is exactly why boots are so bad....

Even if the first buyer knows that something is a boot, somewhere down the line, someone is going to be misled or screwed.

Hmm, I purchased my Neo Geo AES system from Tom and business was professional and great! Sorry to hear about this, hopefully in the end this gets resolved for the better of you both.

I too have purchased from Tom on separate occasions and always got items as described. This sounds like a simple lack of research, a requirement on the buyers behalf (esp when dealing on egay).:cool:
