So I got my Bust a Move cart today from DBS, great seller here. And I pop it open and both boards are SNK boards with one eprom each (which I know is very common)

But on the back of the CHA board there is a wire of the EPROM socket, and some pretty messy looking stuff on 2 pins. Is this ok? Everything else looks great, although no chips are Toshiba, but I don't think they should be.

Well, let me know, or if you need more info.

Sorry no digi cam :( so no pics.

The chips that say 068 are Power Spikes 2 and D96 chips are the Puzzle Bobble chips (though if you were to look at the Master list, it says 96 is Art of Fighting 3)....

If you search the forum you will see that it s verry common, they built bust a move from in-stock powerspikes 2 boards... I find it personally funny :) maybe they thought nobody would open...
For your m1... that s odd... i ve seen such things for hacked games (adding bosses, unlimited gauges and such) but not on m1 rom... ^^; maybe a repaired game...
