Ok here is the story : all begins on this Neo-cart on ebay. Yes US MS1 !

"snkadorer" is Charles Karels, father of Ralph Karels (known as kyokugen star here and known as kyokugen-disciple on ebay)

I won the auction for this game but I didn't know if the game was original or not since the picture was very dark and because the guy never replied to my email during the auction.
After winning it, the seller said that he didn't know if game was real or fake. So we decided that I send the money and if the game was finally a fake, he said that he would return my money and me the game. Good attitude no ? since nobody want to pay 1810 Euros ($1600) for a MVS conversion.

I received the game and fake it is !

Now this very cool guy charles karels doesn't want to return my money anymore because the game is in perfectly working order !!!

What do you think about that men ?

This is the situation :
My name is Ralph and I´m kyokugen-disciple/kyokugen star - correct. I spoke with my dad - Charles - yesterday as well. I was moving out of town a couple of weeks ago so I told him to auction off some of the games I left. Obviously he did auction off that Metal Slug Conversion you are talking about here now.
I don`t know what he wrote into the auction text but I doubt that he wrote it`s a conversion since he knows nothing about Neo Geo. He told me that due to this he refrained from answering any questions.
BUT: Although from my point of view now it was not a good choice to let him handle this, it was neither his nor my fault that YOU bid on this particular auction knowing what particular risk this might be. I always follow the rule: Is it unclear - don`t bid.
I am very sorry, but this was not my auction and as such I cannot be held responsible nor refund you especially since contact between us is difficult at times (I`m touring Germany jobwise, he`s on vacation now).
What I don`t understand is how you intend to threaten me with "posting a story on ng.com". I cannot prevent you from doing so but it surely ain`t advisable because you`ll need to explain yourself as well thinking you could
get a US MS for roughly 50% of it`s actual going price and therefore bidding on an uncertain auction. That`s called greed. Nevertheless, although the outcome of this auction surely is unfavourable for you, there technically wasn`t anything wrong. You bid on and won it although you didn`t receive any answers to your questions. Kindly keep that in mind as well as it was not my auction so there`s no need to accuse me of anything.

Ok what I have to reply is this : question is not if the game is in working order or not, if it was your auction or not. This game was yours and your father said THAT HE WILL RETURN THE MONEY IF GAME WAS A FAKE. Do you understand this ? Now you're breaking your words.

Le truc c'est qu'il m'a envoyé 4 autres photos et comme le proto a entièrement été fait à partir d'un original, tu peux rien voir. J'ai eu confiance lorsqu'il m'a dit qu'il me rembourserait c'est tout. Merci à toi en tout cas.

Regarding the above:

Before making baseless statements like the one above, kindly get your facts straight. That conversion was not done by us, our's come with no manual and are altered to make sure they will not be re-sold as original.

There are at least 10 people wordwide that can do conversions of that quality. Trust us when we say, if we did a "rip" of any cart you would not be able to tell the fake from an original.

1600 for a FAKE? There is no compromise here...he must return that money or never return to these forums because if he tried to "pull this scam on you" he's done it before to some unsuspecting dummy...
There is NO excuse good enough here....
Who would want to take the chance attempting to repro anything almost exact to an "authentic" only to be "outted" in the future?
That is a huge gamble to take...and it appears luck has run out for somebody!

Bahamut, je te souviens vraiment car ce genre de merde nous est tous arrivé sur Ebay. Moi je l'ai eu avec un pad neo CD donc c'est pas la mort mais pour un MS1 là c'est vraiment terrible. Comme dit Garou_d, essaie de porter plainte mais essaie aussi de le signaler à shawn pour qu'il l'inscrive sur la liste des Mauvais vendeurs. Bref, fais le savoir jusqu'à ce que L'autre consente à fair quelquechose. Je sais pas, harcèle-le sur ces posts jusque tu obtiennes raison. En tout cas n'hésite pas à reposter pour nous tenir au courant de cette histoire et pour que les gens ne l'oublient pas.

KS said that is not normal that you pay your MS1 fake for 50% of it's real value, but what's the real value : not 3200$ but 250-300$ and you have pay 1600$ for this shit !!

Now imagine that I'm a seller of diamond (copy sure) and I want to go to holidays (money is very easy to win on ebay by these days).
I give the diamonds to my father and sure he put it on ebay with no comments.
If somebody ask a question I don't respond sure or I send a dirty picture.
When my father got the money I said that I'm not responsible, that's my father !!! Are you taking ebayer for milk cows ?!?

KS when you go back on neo-geo.com and see the post call your father (you know with a real phone, not a copy or a toy for young baby), ask him to send the money back to Bahamut(laurent) else you're not a good guy.

He might need the money for medical expenses if Bahamut finds him in person. It's shit like this that reminds me how much better it is to deal only with people you trust or face to face. You really have to be super careful otherwise.

I've disagreed with Kyokugen Star many times, I'm definitely not a fan, but I'd like to hear his side of the story before I go and bash him as a scam artist in public.
