Can you use Goenitz on the KOF 96 NGH cart?

I ask that because I just recieved this game and from what I have heard you are only able to use him via a DEBUG BIOS chip?...Is that true?

yep!

only with the Debug BIOs chip, u can 'unlock' most of the HIDDEN characters or the LAST BOSS!

94 can use Rugal but a bit of BUG
95 can use Saisyu & Rugal without that executing the code
96 can use Goenitz & Chizuru(so that u can use Chizuru, Kyo & Iori to view the special ending)
98 can use Rugal
99 can use Krizalid both version
00 can use Zero & Kula without going thru all those characters in sequence
01 can use Igniz(awesome Boss)

besides unlocking characters, for KOF u can stop the timer form running, disable damage for some of the older games which does not have Practice Mode!

say u have a U.S. version NGH u can also select Japanese Language n vice versa Jap cartridge English Text!!!!! applys to the game Demo introduction too!

really worth getting Debug BIOs!

A debug bios is one of the best things you can get for the Neo Geo home cart system. It only costs bout $17 for it, but, you need to how to install it, or have someone you know install it. But, overall, a debug bios is worth it, it allows to switch between home cart and MVS, and enter dip switches which allow to use secret characters in the KOF games and other things as well. It is a worthy thing to have in your system.
