I want to know: can a SNES (euro), or a Super Famicon JR (JAP) be converted to output RGB?

This would give the best possible picture available.

Anyone?

You don't need to convert it. There was an official SFC RGB cable released in Japan by Nintendo. The system already outputs RGB.

The SFC Jr. and the New Compact SNES do not have RGB or S-Video though (or stereo sound).

So, if I where to get a JAP SFC (not JR), I would be able to get a RGB scart lead for it?

I didn't know the SFC JR was mono! Cool to know.

I've found one of those RGB cables on <a href="http://www.gamechoise.com.hk" target="_blank">www.gamechoise.com.hk</a> !

The RGB cable will work on a US or Japan SFC/SNES, it's the same pinout.

Very cool.Very cool indeed.

Now I have to get myself one of those cables, and a JAP SFC. Ok. This'll be expensive, probably.

Many thanx for the excellent help, Drift King EX!
