Aluisi, where are you bro?

The last time I heard from him was his last pm on 5/19/10. I sent him money for a 2nd JammaCast on 3/25/10. I told him I was in no rush to get it, but I thought I would have had it by now. I understand he's had some health issues, but please just let me know if you are going to send the item I paid for.

Aluisi is a solid dude. He built my first JammaCast for me last year. It worked like a charm till January of this year. Like a Idiot I hooked up the jamma harness backwards to the Jammacast and I burned out the 2nd player controls. I asked him if he could fix it, and he did for a small fee. He got it back to me 2-3 weeks later.

I don't know if he's sick. If he is then I understand, but just give me a heads up.

What method did you find was the best way to get in contact with him? Glad it all worked out for you :)

He had some health issues that he had to take care of and I understand. Everything was squared away.

I am aware of that. Congratulations on getting stuff figured out. My question is very much related. I have a deal with him, and I was wondering what method you used to contact him that finally bred success.

hi its been days now.. he said to me last friday he just recieve the box on is project. how long would it take to finish his jammacast? ive been waiting for 2weeks from now and he replied on the last min. that the box was a delay. and now I'm counting the days it should have been shipped by now. or it should be in my shoulders this day. is this guy really trustworthy? I'm kinda worried on this transaction, this would be my first time transacting to this forum...

He is trustworthy from my limited experience, and from what I hear; he is just a little slow to get things shipped.

He's a busy guy. You can count on him though. He builds and fixes stuff for alot of people on this board. Give it some more time. You will get your gear.

I got a respond last weekend I think his just starting on my jammcast he had a problem with another customers controller, thats why he needs to buy a new one. well that sucks thou. our target shipping was a weeks ago, He gave me 1 week in time to prepare and 1 week for shipping. now its 3weeks and counting. well its ok to wait. but it take time. I understand its not his full time job but there are thing should be fixed and finish first before you got piled up with orders. and don't take orders if you can't really commit thats my opinion.
Well I just hope he finish everything, its hard to wait especially if your international. even If I've paid 50usd for the EMS shipping 5-7days door to door, theres a possibility that the item will be here in 2-4weeks. and possibly the customs will hold the item. so the waiting time for me is far to long, and what if the item has some issues.. thats the big problem another few months to wait..:(

anyway thanks for reply razo....

Foxhunter, I can understand your frustration, but think about any major project you've ever worked on - have you ever done body work or any significant mechanical work on a car? If you own a home, have you done any remodeling? What I'm getting at is, large projects often have unforeseen snags that come up along the way, and all one can do is be patient and deliberate. Aluisi, in my dealings, works slow but works well. Trust me when I say it's better to deal with someone like that than to deal with someone who doesn't give a s#!t about anything except wasting as little of his time as possible on something he's selling to someone else. ;) Also, I don't think Asher will be anything short of careful with this, especially considering it'll be shipped internationally.

Again, understand your frustration dude. Unless you had a deadline for a particular reason, though, just let the man take his time to deliver the best possible final product to you.

Yeah I understand, I'm not saying I've been to large projects one of my hobby is Restoring vintage bikes that it would take time and passion and another thing I customized Figurines and customizing toys that would sell few hundreds on ebay and to some serious collectors.. I Know it would take time, but I always deliver. :mr_t:Ok, I'm not saying I never been delayed but maybe just a few 1-3days or with some "unfortunate events" like there is no electricity due to typhoon and other natural disaster.
Anyway He contact me and it will be out within this week. thats good to hear:D. I just hope there is no problem to the jammacast, being overseas is pain in the ass especially here in our country in shipping and in custom tax. they put 100-150% if they got interest and saw a big number in your item. thats just crazy....:hammer:

from everything I hear his work is solid- so don't worry about that part of the deal at all. I'm sure everything will be just fine.

Also- keep us posted on how your deal works out. There's a few people waiting on how our situations work out before they pull the trigger on some gear themselves.

I managed to get my items, and he was very apologetic. I did make sure to ask about other people's stuff (anybody who contacted me). He seemed very sincere saying that he was working on it all. Stay on him.

Seems I'm having similar problems that others have had in the past. I can't get ahold of him and no responses to calls or emails.

I sent him my payment for a JammaCast at the end of September (along with my Genesis), and he was also going to make a Jamma Genesis with an additional payment due when that was sent. He said it wouldn't be done right away but it's been awhile now. He was keeping me updated for awhile saying he was almost done with both, but now I'm not getting any kind of response from him.

I knew people said he was slow with shipping but did good work so that's why I decided to give him a shot. But no responses to any type of contact now has me worried that I'm being scammed but his history here doesn't suggest that's what's happened.

I'm not sure what to do now. I'm out a payment for a JammaCast and my Genesis and he's seemingly disappeared. If anyone speaks with him regularly if you could let me know what's going on that'd be appreciated.

Update...We've spoken since my last post and things seem to be moving in the right direction...Hopefully if things go as planned by next week I should be enjoying my JammaCast and JammaGenesis.

For some reason the game I'm most excited to play on my cab is Evander Holyfield's Boxing...IMO, it's one of the only video games in any generation, on any system, to actually get boxing right and not turn it into button mashing...Plus the career mode is cool and pretty realistic.

Updated even further: Everything arrived as planned and worked as intended. Very professional build and product!!!
