It took me a couple of weeks to muster up the nerve to destroy my old CP, but I'm glad I did.

After detaching all the buttons and sticks then peeling off the old vinyl I was disappointed to find there was a 1/16th" thick sheet of steel I'd also have to replace along with the lexar. I was able to use the same wood just by drilling new holes for the buttons. I got pretty lucky cutting the lexar too. I had a few pieces cut because I was sure I'd shatter or warp it while drilling, but I managed to get it on the first try! I'm still using the old buttons, but they work fine and replacing them in the future should be a breeze.

All in all, I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Wow that old one was horrible, new one is 100x better. Looks excellent.

Nice job. Its always good to see an MVS cab brought back from the brink.

It's abnormal, I know. But since it's already a conversion cab I went with what I thought looked most sexy.
