Taito Vewlix L 32" LCD Arcade Cabinet

Imported at the end of October 2008

cabinet is complete, fitted with 1p control panel, comes with manual and marquee,
replacement 50 and 200 Yen stickers, control panel adaptors for Sega and Taito Egret CP's, power cable and keys. 300w stepdown is also included

£2500 with BOTH 1p and 2p CP's

cabinet is located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK

no games or systems are included, this is cabinet only for sale.
accessories such as HDFury and a JVS-Pac to allow easy installation of a PS3 will also available seperately if the prospective buyer is interested

Hey Megs, if its not too much trouble would you mind sharing where you got the 2 player Vewlix L panel or where one can be found? A friend is picking up one of these cabinets this weekend. He's been looking for a 2 player L panel, but so far has only been able to find 2 player Vewlix F panels. Any help would be appreciated. Good luck with the sale, that cabinet looks super mint.

Hi Alec,

replacement 2p Vewlix CP's are available from Riverservice, when I originally purchased the L I could only obtain the F CP myself (which has now also been sold) but the 2p L CP is now available at the same price IIRC, I think N80G80 got his from RS too

That thing is fucking sweet. Wish I could afford one.

Is it ever uncomfortable to sit that close to a 32 inch monitor though? Seems like it would hurt your eyes after a while.

A 16:9 ratio is probably friendlier on the eyes, plus its a much deeper CP than usual.

Hiya Justin, the best I can answer that is, i'm taking a break from the "scene" for now yes - for how long, I couldn't say.
there are other things that are more priority thesedays, this cab is not getting any use and has been sat in the backroom covered over for a couple of weeks now with no sign of it being needed anytime soon.

as pang says, its probably easier on the eyes due to the depth of the cp.

quick update post,
firstly, i've been asked if the screen can be rotated, the answer is yes :)

I recently acquired some replacement CP side plastics in white - the original side plastics on the L's are black, the white ones should go well with the cabs original white side plastics these are included with the cabinet at no extra charge, please see below picture for refference


also, pic of the 2p CP

and the bits and bats used to run 15k JAMMA stuff which consists of Sun PSU, JVS>JAMMA and XRGB2

also the HDFury and JVS-Pac

Nice cab Mark.

I am very tempted especially with the new KOF and Sam sho games on the horizon but worried that it may sit gathering dust in my place too.

Sorry to bump, but this seems to be the default Viewlix thread for now.

Does anyone know if Viewlix machines have headphone jacks?
