Samurai Shodown Sen will be a retail game. KoF2k2UM and MotW are XBLA games. Looks like SNK will be releasing some new KoF-themed shmup for XBLA called KoF Sky Stage. KoF2k2UM is going to be released in 2010, MotW and SSS are scheduled for this year.

Thanks for the news! This is all great to hear, although I would have loved to see KOF'02UM get a budget release stateside.

Sky stage looks goofy. Maybe it's just the idea of KOF characters flying around.
MotW looks good though, do all these live games have widescreen borders like that?

Sky Stage seems like a pretty strange idea but it could be cool. I really can't wait for MotW and KOF2k2 though.

What is the Samsho game though? I've never heard of it.

Interesting. From the look of the Edge of Destiny shots, I wonder if the home version might have the blood that the arcade Japanese version lacked.

According to cyberfanatix.com, SS Sen is XBox360 exclusive in 2009. Can anyone confirm?

Woohoo! I haven't played SS Sen, but I'll definitely rent it. I love all of the 2D ones; hopefully it works better in 3D than older SNK 3D fighters did.

KOF XII will definitely be one to buy for me. I really hope SSS is as well.
I'll buy KoF Sky Stage if it's budget-priced, or rent it if it's full-price.

As for the XBLA games, I'll probably pass. I don't like paying for downloadable content. I already have an MVS cart of Garou, and I'd rather have the majority of the money for an actual KOF98 cart, isntead of the re-release, especially since it's downloadable content.

2k2 confirmed for XBLA, question is what about a ps2 version stateside?

hopefully we'll get more things clear during the KoF tournament in Hollywood, or E3 this year

I thought Samurai Spirits Sen was coming to the PS2 (and not the PS3). If it includes Samurai Spirits Zero Special as a bonus, I'm sold. Otherwise, I'm renting it and hoping the sequel turns out to be better (if there is a sequel).

That KOF shooter looks like it belongs on a cell phone (alongside all the other ridiculous KOF/SNK-related cell phone games that've been cranked out over the last two years). Seeing as how SNK Playmore hasn't developed a console shooter since Twinkle Star Sprites: La Petite Princesse (which was pretty good), I have my doubts this'll be decent.

Glad to see KOF 2002: UM and Mark Of The Wolves on X-Box Live. Now where's Twinkle Star Sprites, Waku Waku 7 and Magical Drop 3?

2K2UM on XBLA is worth anyone's money. Honestly better than any KOF on the Neo, and I say that without a hint of irony. If the roster included the 2003/XI additions, I'd call it the best KOF to date.
