i just picked up a mv2f board so i could play my neo games on my dyanmo jamma cab that has a 25 inch monitor
it works great (its a time killers cab xo alread is wired for 4 buttons per player)
but i really hate hearing only 1 channel of sound is there a way i can jumper the board so it outputs mono

thanks guys

I think the adapter is the better way though, just plug and play when using the MVS.

ok then with that adptor i see it has a jumper harness so do i have to use a jumper with it since my rig is already jamma + im trying to make this as swap and go as possible without messing it up for my other jamma games i play in the cab

also i found the mono wire but im getting no sound traced the wire and its not broken and i tested it with my multi

do i have to change somthing on the board or is it just the fact that the stereo wires are populated on this harness also (time killers is stereo to begin with )

My cabinet is straight JAMMA with an extra 4th button setup per player. It's mono, and when I plugged in that board, my 4-slot worked perfect. I didn't use any of the extra jumpers and things on the top of the converter. I just plugged my JAMMA harness into the converter, and the converter into my MVS.

Pin 11 can't be used in a cab. The MV2F amplifier (HA13001) can be reconfigured to output mono by changing a few components. Can't be bothered to explain unless you really want to do it.

let me know the basisc involved and ill let you know if im going to attmpt it as i dont feel like spending any cash on it lol

i actually have the 2 slot cab that the 2 slot board was in but i really dont want to use it as my 1 slot cab in 100% perfect cond

and the 2 slot has some good chunks missing (not a problem) and the lettering on the right side has been vandalised (big problem)and it has no monitor

so i would have to use the monitor from my 1 slot then totaly restore the 2 slot cab and it still would not look as good as my 1 slot does

Since it says Audio+ I'm assuming that it is non-amplified, is that correct?

ok so i just checked the harness and it seems at pin 10 and l i have 2 yellow wires (stereo left and right)
bolth of these wires go to a molex connector and are wired to the same out on the other side of the molex connector so wouldent that mean im getting strero out but its just wired up to a single speaker

it also seems on time lillers pin m is part of the 4 channel sound system that time killers uses lol wich is actually the test button on the 2 slot (found that out by hooking that wire up and it going into the test mode lol )

edit
well i rigged up a temp fix
took some old earphones and hacked the appart and wired a small speaker to them not much volume but at least i can hear bolth sound chanels

here are a few pics of the 2 slot cab i got for a song that the board came from
so you can see my delima

it would be much better if i just gutted my slot cab (that is a conversion to begin with )
and stuck its monitor in the 2 slot then used the 1 slot board to swap into the dynamo cab
but my 1 slot is perfect cab is 100% fresh so i hate to gut it

and you can see from the pics that the 2 slot needs quite a bit of work

I wouldve thought that Stereo from the headphone jack would be sufficient enough. Mono sucks ass.

Are you opposed to using a pair of amplified PC speakers? Hook them up to the headphone jack and crank up the volume!

cool good idea
but will that have a chance of blowing the headphone output on the board

i was just weary about voltage feedback into the board but i guess if i get quality speakers they should have a filter

but alas i went ahead and started rebuilding the 2 slot riped the monitor out of black tiger and now its up and running (man the monitor out of tiger is fuct it has some super burn in from 2 diffrent games and is way out of adjustment )but looks like i need to go ahead and find myself a new monitor

I run my audio from the headphone jack to L and R on my rgb crt and crank up the volume on the TV or the 2 slot.

Works a treat.
