Stupid Noob Question: AES and Credits...

Stupid question this - but, is there anyway to 'add more credits' to AES games. I'm playing through some of the fighters (starting with Sam Showdown 1) and can get quite far on the 4 credits, but not all the way to the end.

So, I'm assuming the answer is 'No, get better at the games', but it would be nice to know if it was possible to somehow switch it to 'free play' or have an 'add more coins' button.

Anyone?

A) Switch to player 2 side (essentially doubles your credits)
B) Get a memory card (which typically saves between levels on most games, allowing you to resume with full credits)
C) Best most expensive option (The true way of the AES), get your console modded with a new BIOS that allows you to play the game in MVS/arcade mode (allows you to add credits by pushing select+A/B (A for P1, B for P2)

ok, i've a memory card coming - how does that work, just run out of credits and is there a 'resume' option or something? or do I need to switch off before I die?

As for getting it modded, what does that entail? Is it a difficult job?

IIRC when using a memory card it asks you if you want to save at the game over screen or something like that, then you restart the game and it asks you if you want to load.

As for the BIOS mod I think replacing the BIOS can be a bit of a pain if you have no experience doing such a thing. You'll have to check the cost with someone who does mods, like JMKurtz.

I like to use the Unibios with the AES Infinite Credits cheat enabled when available. I like AES mode.
