"The complete collection.." how about they port the hyper games. Until then, these releases are a waste of time.
They've already said that they'd like to, but can't, since the source code was lost in the dissolution of the original SNK back in 2000. And emulating the Hyper is a lot more processor intensive and difficult than the 16-bit Neo.

Perhaps Dion has the source code.....![]()
The hardware is 10 years old already. SNKP just doesn't want to spend the time or any money making an emulator.
What, you got rid of your Hyper hardware? What would possess you to do that?
Last I saw EB took the date off their site, I want to pre-order it but can't. Been waiting for a SS collection for YEARS, really, really hope this turns out well. I neednt say that this is in fact my favorite series along with many other people.http://store.videogamecentral.com/psp-samurai-shodown-anthology.html

6 you cannot get on the neo. Also, I like the arranged soundtracks for the games that do not come in the MVS or the AES versions. On top of that your getting 6 games for 14 dollars where as SS 3 and SS 4 I have seen for upwards of 2 hundred (going by memory here). I would say arguably your getting the best video quality compared to an unmodded neo. And the fact you can adjust the screen and the pixels makes it even better. Control could be an issue except that you have wireless control possible only with the ports while wireless control is impossible with both MVS and AES combined. So, basically what I am trying to point out is there are numerous reasons to get a good "port". Because its not just a port. Its a lot more than that. In some ways its a better version.Who cares about the anthology? It has games you can already get on the neo, the ones that actually matter anyway.
