BEWARE: ladyjhos5_sell on Ebay (from Hong Kong)!!

I understand that Bibliophile has made a thread about this seller, suspecting that he/she is the same big time rip-off seller sofmap.hk on Ebay:

I do not have evidence showing a connection or inter-relationship between sofmap.hk and ladyjhos5_sell. However, I've discovered heavy shill bidding activities with his seller using another Ebay ID "Japan-bid" with 0 and private feedback.

ladyjhos5_sell caught my attention when I was watching the Samurai Showdown Zero MVS kit auction. This "Japan-bid" who registered in Oct 2006 in Hong Kong with 0 and private feedback happens to be the winner (item# 280231123835):

Go figure: Japan-bid won the game on 24 May 08. ladyjhos5_sell re-list it on 28 May 08, then Japan-bid won the same game again on 4 June 08? The most suspicious thing is Japan-bid is registered in Hong Kong, and there is no transaction for this buyer for almost 2 years.





Dig a little bit further, there is a bidder named "p***n" bidding only on ladyjhos5_sell's auction (29 in total):

sofmap.hk was registered on Dec-19-06 in Hong Kong (suspended, formerly known as princess.velvet)

Check out japan-bid's ID history, up until Feb of this year it was lady91768. Then it was changed to japan-bid, and just a couple days after the "changed id" tag would have come down ladyjhos5 starts selling stuff.

I think its pretty much a given at this point that these auctions are being rigged.

I think it was over 40 carts. I just hope rifirif222 had enough sense to pay by credit card rather than by checking account, but from what it sounds like, he did lose from his checking account.

hello it is me the french guy "rirififi222", I have done with this fucking nightmare!!

I get my money back the 20 august, last week!!!

I fight with paypal during many months and with the help of my lawyer I succeed and they refund me at 100 % . With this money i travel to japan in october!!

I read that sofmap is comming back, I think that if paypal refund me at 100% sofmap gave the money back because i was insured for only 1450 dollars (1000 €).

Anyway now it is passed but this fucking man did well his job, he is a pro.. so becareful!!!!!! I am the best whitness for saying that

Similar to sofmap.hk (Ebay), ladyjho5_sell is auctioning a whole bunch of Neo Geo stuff with "bidder User ID kept private" option.

He/she is most likely using other ebay ID such as "Japan-bid" to shill-bid his auctions. Buyer's beware!

yeah I was watching and even bidding on a bunch of their stuff.In fact I made a purchase. Never mind the game doesn't work just tried booting it and I got nothing. I've contacted the seller to see about a replacement or refund if not I'll be speaking with ebay. Good god I should have bought from neostore for another 20 bucks.
