Dkap01 (David Kaplish) is a scammer!
I bought from him a homemade portable Neo Geo MVS. It was supposed to be the same one shown on his website:
http://customportables.com
The cost on it was $405, plus $25 shipping. I sent him paypal payment for $430 on 12/23/07. He emailed me and said he would ship it on 1/2/08. He never did. When I sent him followup emails, he never responded.
On 1/26/08, I filed a paypal dispute, and escalated it to a claim. He never responded to either the dispute or the claim.
On 2/6/08, because he never responded, Paypal resolved the dispute in my favor. However, they only refunded me $200 because that is the limit they cover. They sent me the following response:
I only got $200 back, and dkap01 still owes me $230, which I now have to file a credit card dispute with my credit card to get credit back for the remainder.
Beware this seller, and do not buy anything off of his website:
http://customportables.com
Also, his ebay ID is dkap01.

Paypal said:After careful review, this claim has been decided in your favor and
$200.00
USD has been credited to your account.
This is the maximum amount covered by PayPal. If your claim was for
more
than the amount recovered, the outstanding balance is due from the
seller
and we will make our best effort to recover it for you.
