It has finally happened. With my recent acquisition of Ironclad / Chotetsu Brikinger, I finally completed my Neo Geo CD collection. According to the price guides, there are 100 CD games: 96 regular games and 4 special editions (Art of Fighting 3 Box Edition, KOF 96 Collection, KOF 98 w/99 calendar, and KOF 98 Special Box Edition). I now own all 100 games, plus Last Hope NGCD, and a Neo Geo CD carrying case. In addition, I also have two boxed top-loading CD's, a boxed front-loader, and a boxed CDZ.

It took me 7 months and only $2167.44. According to the prices guides (which are outdated), the 100 CD's alone are worth between $3270 (low) and $4970 (high), so I think it is a pretty good investment.

Plus, as an added bonus, the above collection is just the Japanese versions of the games. I also have 29 US/English versions of games, and my next goal is to complete a collection of all English versions of games.

NGCD collection (US games not shown):

If you're counting homebrews like last hope its not complete because I dont see Frog Feast. Nice collection though. Only thing you are missing is the clear Neo CD shell.

Well, I was primarily going by the 100 CD's on the price guide, but yes, I would like to have any homebrews, too. But I never heard of Frog Feast. Do you have it? Wanna sell it?

I think there's a website that still sells it.

It's not technically a game, but there's also the KOF 95 CD collection. Good luck finding a US copy of Gowcaizer, I'm still looking for one.

Why isn't there a KOF 95 collection on the price list or master list? Do you have one? Wanna sell it?

I can get it a US copy of Gowcaizer on ebay, but it's more than I am willing to spend on it:

It's not on the price list because it's not a game. It's a boxed set collection of KOF 95 art that was only available from Neo Geo Freak magazine. Magnaflux had one for sale a while back.

As soon as I mention it. There's an English Gowcaizer for sale. What do you know :emb:

Awesome collection!!! 7 months and only $2167.44 is not bad at all!

I have been collecting English version and it took me 7 years to complete the collection (I am anal about spinecard & CD condition), yet I am still a few ENG CD short!

Good luck in collecting English ver NGCD because some titles are not that easy to come by.

By the way, egameaddiction has some ENG NGCD for sale. You might want to check it out. You might also want to pick up Big Bear's Sengoku 2 because the ENG version is pretty hard to come by as well. $31 shipped is a steal IMO.

Enjoy!!

PS. For twalden, I have only seen a US copy of Gowcaizer once. It's a tough cookie!

Damn. You went all out to get all that since June.

I like the pic of the loading screen. . . Love having a cab!

Jealous of that homebrew shit though. Last Hope never came out for MVS, did it?

That is my point as well.Getting a full US neo geo cd set is 10 times harder than getting a full jap set.
Last blade 2 US cd,world heroes 2US cd and other titles are damn hard to surface.

Congratulations, btw, your full jap set is amazing.
