On November 6th I paid JDOtaku for two NGPC games in this thread-

Over the first few weeks he gave me excuses about him being busy taking care of his brother and busy, until he eventually said he shipped the games but warned the postman said to expect delays.

About two weeks after the Thanksgiving holiday I messaged him inquiring about a DC or proof he shipped the games, and as of two messages later he has still not contacted me with this information.

16-Bit also bought some games from him on the 13th of November and as of yesterday had still not received them.

Over a month wait for two NGPC games is pretty ludicrous, this guy smacks of scammer. If anyone here bought that copy of D&D for Saturn he was selling, did you actually get your game? That was the most expensive item he had up around that time, at about 90 bucks. I hope nobody else got shafted by this character.

Strange. I ordered a few NGPC games from him as well and received them fairly fast. This was in October. I hope things get straightened out.

Glad to hear all went well with your purchase. Since I opened this thread another buyer (Loegan) posted that he too hasn't received any games or communication, and it's been almost a month (November 27th) since he paid.

Hate to be a pessimist, but I feel like one mistake is believable, two could be a coincidence, but three spells scammer. Three people buying items from the same thread, not getting their merchandise in over a month is nothing short of dirty business.

It looks to me like a classic case of a seller who stuck around long enough to get a few positive feedbacks under his belt, then decided to open a large sale with multiple, cheap, sure-sell items so that he could get quick and easy payments from potential buyers, then skip town.

Well, I messaged him on 12-01, nearly a month after I paid for my items, asking if he had a DC or proof he had shipped my items, so we knew where to take it from there. His last day active on these boards was two weeks later, on December 14th. So he had two weeks of being active since that message and hasn't responded.

16-Bit and Loegan34 both stated they haven't had any kind of communication from him. Check the selling thread for details.

He confirmed to me on the 26th of November that he had already been to the post office. This is a day before Loegan paid for his stuff, three weeks from when I paid, and almost two weeks from 16-bits payment.

Needless to say you'd think he did these in multiple trips to the post office, and for nothing to show up from any of those trips, well, that speaks volumes.

None at all, hope that he makes good on the deals he's made here. Hopefully maybe it's just the Christmas rush and all. I bought his remaining NGPC games, but have not received them nor any communication or proof of mailing.:oh_no:

Where did he claim to be shipping from? I ran some traces and show his posts originating from Phoenix, Arizona area.

Are these traces only originating from the Phoenix area, or both Idaho and Arizona? Just trying to figure out if there's any significance to this.

Has anyone received anything from this clown yet?

Has this guy even responded to your PMs or e-mails giving any kind of explanation?

Nope, not one since he mentioned that he had shipped the items out before the 26th of November.

Loegan and 16-Bit both stated that neither of them have gotten any communication from him either.

At this point I really just want to neg him, as I know I wont get my stuff. But I'd hate to get one from him in return out of spite.

I'm just glad I lost less than 20 dollars from this deadbeat.

There are moderators here, I'm sure that revenge negs are... frowned upon.

Josh- Appreciate it.

No activity on my Paypal yet. If you could, shoot me a PM when the refund process has started.

It has been five days from his post that Josh posted about refunding everyone and still no word from Paypal about money being returned.

The thing that blows my mind is that I start this thread ten days ago and when he finally is "directed" to the issue (Apparently just totally disregarding the numerous PMs sent to him by multiple members about their missing items) by 16-bit, he pays everyone back but me.

Now, I know it's the new year and it's nice to start things off on the right foot and with a clean slate, but this kid is a damn liar. Reading his selling thread, he specifically stated the items were shipped, and if items weren't received he would be contacting his postmaster for information. Obviously he never shipped and blew smoke up the ass of everyone who had already paid him.

It's my opinion that if you have to lie to your customers about the items they paid for, then you're nothing but a scammer. That said, I'm not surprised that the two people he did refund were those who took up claims against him.

I don't expect Josh to see this unless he is suddenly steered in the direction of his shoddy dealings again, but if nothing else, this post is a warning to any potential customers of his in the future. Josh had three deals encompassing the month of November, all from the same thread, completely butchered. Buy from him at your own risk.

No surprise here..

I still haven't received my refund, notification thereof, or a reply on this thread from Josh. After over two months of his lies and excuses, I've run dry of both kindness and patience for this guy.

As of now this cheap bastard can keep my money, as I know it's been over 45 days since he scammed me, which is too long to file a claim with Paypal.

Josh, you can eat this neg and deal with it. I won't hesitate to remind any of your future potential buyers about your complete and utter incompetence as a seller.

Edit: Thanks to whichever mod stickied this thread, I appreciate the serious approach to this situation.

Two words of advice:

1. Whenever I pay via paypal, if I don't receive something by day 44, I automatically open a paypal dispute (even if I have reason to believe that the item may be on its way). When you open a dispute, paypal gives you 20 days to either close the dispute or escalate it to a claim. If I receive it within those 20 days, I close the dispute. If I don't receive it by day 20, I escalate it to a claim.

2. Whenever possible, pay via paypal using a credit card rather than a checking account. This way, you can file a credit card dispute if you don't receive the item and the 45-day period has already expired.

Just some advice for future transactions.
