It is pretty messed up if he is selling your conversion copy. He even kept his bidder's ID private.

Thanks A!! I have asked for further pictures of the back of the insert near the brick wall - but I am almost 100% sure it is the same one.

Hi mate - sorry but I think it is irrelevant what I sold it for, but it was way below what I originally paid for it.

I am just trying to make people aware of the fact that if they bid on this they are buying a conversion MS and not an original.

I don't. Though conversions are not collector pieces and any asking price past parts is ridiculous, I think it would be better for the community if the price it was sold for was disclosed.

Though it is 99% likely a boot - we do not have confirmation yet.

It could be that the seller obtained TerryB's boot and sold his legit copy as he had no need for it.

It is unlikely, but I'm just sayin'...

Fair point - I have asked for further pictures to provide a bit more evidence but it just looks exactly like the one I sold him.

It probably wont go over 5,999 since anything higher requires you to register your credit card (since people are bidding with fake ebay accounts).
