So about two months ago I grabbed this cab off of N80G80 (awesome guy btw) on here and started work on it. After a bunch of industrial cleaning shit, some sanding, a few coats of chevy white and blue acrylic enamel its done.

When I first set the arcade monitor in the cab its mounting bracket was to big. I had to cut the bracket a bit to fit it in, but its secure as hell now.

The monitor (24.88" standard res) I grabbed from this guy:

Not sure if anyone is aware of this guy/store but he's great. I asked quite a few questions about the monitor before I purchased it and had answers within the hour. The monitors are made by the same company that produce them for Makvision I read. Sharp, bright picture, definitely no complains about the quality. It only cost $50 to ship it to PA which was nice (Happ's quoted me for $160 cheapest shipping if I bought any 24.88" monitor through them).

I still have 3 decals to throw on it (just put on a small SNK one centered above the monitor actually), here are the other two (I really like ROTD :P) :

Onward to my next project, my Millipede cab (artwork still intact). :loco:

That looks amazingly fresh man. Seriously awesome job. It was pretty beat up when N80G80808080 had it right?

I'd personally hold off on the ROTD decals. Save those for the walls of the game room or something. Keep the cab clean and as close to original as possible!

It wasn't very beat up, a small dent or scrape here and there (banged out most of them) but nothing really bad.

I think I'll go with your suggestion on the decals though, just putting on the small SNK decal with a squeegee was a bitch.

dood!!!!! It really does look amazing. You did a fantastic job. Thanks for sharing the pics with everybody, and not just me. I look forward to coming up one day and playing on it.

Hmmm I think that 4 slot board, and that ROTD kit look really familiar :p

Nice job man. I remember the pics before, there has been much improvement. I could be wrong, but I believe that cab to be an MVU4 and not a Neo 29. IMO the MVU4 cab is much nicer than the Neo 29 though it doesn't house as large a screen.
