just do the d-pad mod. Worked great for me. Playing SFA3 and KOF's. Easy to do diagonals now. I tried it with the NES sleeve as in the instructions and it actually worked a little TOO well, making my dpad a little too sensitive. So, I ended up taking some rigid baseball card sleeve plastic and coating it with tape to make it a tad thicker. Works like a charm.

The Capcom one works fairly well, and there's one made by Namco, but I haven't tried using that one, yet.

How do u apply this over D-pad? With double sided tape?

The bottom side has little sticky parts on it. You just peal off the little cover for the sticky points and press it firmly on the psp. It will hold on pretty damn well (mine's never came off).

Everyone I know who's done it is happy. They also like the battery mod that doubles life. Neither is terribly hard or expensive and worthwhile, I intend to do them at some point

Thats the thing I dun like doin it on my PSP. :(
I guess I got no choice except add a mod layer under the pad. Or buy another PSP like the silver one. I heard the D-pad is better on it.

I'm looking for a capcom pad for my psp as well, anyone know where you can buy one? For that link for the namco one i think that they are sold out or something? Is the capcom or the namco pad the better one or are they pretty much the same?

They are not sold out on the one for the namco pad unless it clearly states "sold out". It wasn't when I posted the link.

To order you first must create an account, sign in and then you can start adding to a shopping cart. :)
