Doesn't look like recycled movie license GBA crap. Actually looks like a cool beat-em-up. Might have to D/L and give it a try. I saw it was only $19.99 at Fry's too, but I had FF V and VI as well as Scurge Hive [only $9.90!] so I had to stop there.

Its decent.

Plays like a broken castlevania on the regular levels and a broken road rash on the bike levels.

Overall not the greatest game ever.

Developers actually made the GBA Road Rash, so that makes sense.

Level 1 [each level has 4 stages: 2 fighting, 2 driving] seems to be where all the attention to detail was put so far. I loved the hell motif and thought it was some of the better graphics I've seen on the GBA, period. None of the sprites suffered from that "we're pre-rendered CG sprites like the shitty Altered Beast game". Animation is good, lots of polish [in level 1] and the sounds are okay. They do that whole "shifting music" thing that all the games do now THAT I HATE, where it has an ambient texture sound, then if you fight you get a shitty "action time!" looping music bit until the fights over. There was a slightly impressive mini-boss to level one that they throw at you twice that looked kinda' cool...clunky animation though. And the final boss was a driving battle...which I think is lame.

Level 2 so far is bland! No graphics effects like the ones in level 1, some new enemies...driving levels equally bland. Just trying to get to level 3 to see if they put some more effort in there or if it was all in level 1.

I plan on playing through it entirely. If it doesn't get any better, than Nesagwa hit the nail on the head.

edit: after checking their site, they have more screens of Ghost Rider, and it looks to get better in later levels, so I am looking forward to playing through it. Also, gonna' try that Action Man Metal Slug rip-off for shits and giggles.

One thing I dont like about it is the combo system simply doesnt work. You can kill 5 enemies in a row and still only get a 2 kill combo.

The chain also just goes through enemies that are close to you. It just kind of goes through everyone closes than a few steps away.

The timing for the combo moves are off. You have to tap the button as fast as you can for the 3 hit chain combo.

The first two or three bosses are exactly the same. And it isnt even a very good boss.

The bike stages are frustrating because the enemies will usually end up behind you or way ahead of you because of the speed controls. Especially frustrating in the Vengeance bike fight.

ugh...got to the carnival level and the difficulty is ramped up to the gayest of levels. WTF?! Anyone gotten past this part....should I even waste my time? I think I'm done with this one.
