Awesome news, I've always wanted to play this game in English. It would be nice if the popularity of the DS and adventure games like Hotel Dusk would revitalize the old school interactive adventure game genre. Imagine a port or a sequel to Snatcher on the DS...

So this will be a patch added to an .iso?

Probably going to release it as an IPS patch that you have to put on your own iso file.

Im sure english isos will pop up on torrents pre-patched not soon after though.

I read they ended up with 1200 pages worth of tranlations, crazy.

They had finished last year but their programmer left them and they had no one to incorporate the text into the game.

Wow this is great news, I LOVE Snatcher. I've wanted to play this game since I saw a poster for it in the first Metal Gear Solid.

Does this mean that a translation of Samurai Shodown RPG is doable now? I remember people saying they wanted to do one but didn't know how to do it for CD based games.

Man this is awesome news. Can't wait to check it out.

they started with the Sat version (which is the best and final version), but then turned to the PS, probably to make things easier (everybody can mod a Playstation 1/2)

well I can't honestly wait
This is Kojima's fave game and the only one He got involved in every single version released

I'm not sure why people think Saturns aren't easy to mod. It's one wire, sometimes two. oh well, I don't have a PSX but I can just run it on ePSXe or my bawkz

I have a modded Saturn and modded PSOne and I would love to play Policenauts if I can get ahold of one. :)

Oh that's fucking beautiful. My PSOne version has been collecting dust since 2001, and finally some use it coming for it later!
