Downloading games that are currently on sale by the creators = not on.
$700 for a faux neo game - it's the neo geo, if you don't like the price, you don't buy it (or buy the DC version).
People aren't expecting another game by the creators, so it's not the same. Killing an existing game and lowering the chances that a developer will make another game are 2 VERY different things...
$700 for a homebrew game (Blah, blah, it looks professional; the reason why people pay butt loads of money for expensive AES titles is because of their value and 100% authenticity as an original SNK(Playmore) title) still is out of the traditional Neo-Geo pricing. It's even worse when you know for a fact that the game will be ported in BETTER forms to other formats (There's no more exclusive quality for the title; you know that you're basically paying butt loads of money for an inferior version. The developer's used this version to see what people didn't like about it, and then made those changes to this cheaper DC port).
I'll still buy it (and the OST if one comes out), but I'm just offering this alternative perspective on the issue.
Oh, and I expected them to do an MVS release as well for max profits (You should release different versions of the game from most expensive to least expensive to maximize profits; first get all the people that'll pay $700 for it, then all the people that'd pay $300 (Guessed MVS price), then all the people that'd pay $60 (Guessed NGCD price), then you have the cheap DC release).
