This logic reminded me of when I decided to pick up Doom 3 for the XBox at EB Games. New the game was $19.99, used it was $24.99.

Ya we know that but ebayers dont. The last one sold for more than $30 if I remember correctly and it was 2.1

I could care less about my post count, I have been here for a few years and only have close to 300 posts. I just hate seeing someone profit off of Raz's work. Let Raz profit off it. Just like the asshole in the selling forums trying to sell them for 1/2 the price of Raz. You design and make something of this complexitity then you should reap the rewards, what little there are without someone else trying to screw you over.

Raising awareness of this kind of thing amongst people who are newer to the scene helps them make informed decisions. It's not that difficult to figure out.

Oh right I see your meaning now. Well as long as people are informed about kpj and datalogik then it's up to the buyer to make their own decision about buying from them. At least they contribute to the forums and don't nick other people's work, like this twat here.

boog is loaded though so its his cash.

but kpj is a cancer to this website, and neogeo in general.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Personally I don't mind kpj. I wouldn't buy any of his stuff because it's overpriced, but he has some good tech knowledge and is happy to help people out with problems. If people want to part with wads of cash to buy his stuff then it's up to them.

ive bought my unibios from raz. but there are way to many of these topic as raz has said. a simple pm to him is what he asked.

and i was joking about the post count.

My mistake, sorry. Thought I was replying in that other thread about the guy who's trying to sell a copied unibios on here!

Unless lots of people report dodgy unibios auctions to ebay then they're unlikely to do anything about it so I think it's a good idea to post them here.

is there *any* SNK code in the uni-bios still? or is it 100% reverse engineered and implemented not using their code as a basis?

I know its all steven segal on deadly ground talk, but its a worthwhile point.

Raz has said several times that his unibios is based on the original bios.

RGP - romz talk is frowned upon in the forums and people generally only talk about boots when they're trying to figure out if their cart is a boot. The unibios is the work of a single person trying to do the community a favour so it aint very nice when people use it to make money for themselves.
