Yes and no on the supergun with multislots. A Jameco (Ault) SC200 will definitely power a 1- or 2-slot and will also power some 4-slots, but not a 6-slot. The MAS Supernova will easily drive a 6-slot itself.zer010gic said:You have to wire the game select in. All the multi boards are non Jamma but they are close. As for powering a 6 slot you would need an extra external power supply the 6 slot sucks the power. You could run a 1 slot or possibly a 2 from the supergun but anything more you will need another power supply.

What specifically does wiring the game selct button in involve?

It looks like it maybe easy to change out the video board with a Neobitz board.NGT said:
Really? I think you under estimate the expense that goes into making one. And the time. And the fact that "higher quality" only comes with (1) time and (2) experience. I'm not tooting my own horn, I'm saying that on your first shot it will take you a long time, lots of money in shipping stuff, and you will probably screw something up along the line that will cost you in quality, parts, or time. I think it's great someone making their own supergun and people should definitely try it. That's why I've been working on a guide to help folks.ravenmgs said:Build you own. It's down right simple and using your own components will make it MUCH higher quality and MUCH less expensive.
