Greetings all.

I just finished my latest consolization:

It looks like a briefcase.

I could be a businessman....

But I'm not, I'm just a game-playing fool.

The board and PSU are mounted on insulated spacers.
They keep everything fixed firmly to the interior of the case, but at the same time (electrically) isolated from it.

Yes that is Gowcaizer, before anyone asks. :)

See the lovely, soft interior.... ;)
Dscn1777.jpg

And the most imortant thing: An illuminated power switch!
Dscn1783.jpg

It is a little on the large side though..

Hope you like it.

Great stuff... I wonder if airport security would let that briefcase through customs ;)

Nice looking and clean. Kind of big, though. You should create some storage compartments inside the thing, along with a necktie holder :tickled:

Nice and nasty at the same time. Nicesty. Kinda weirds me out.

I consolized the board a few months ago (that's why it has connectors on the side of the plactic cart brace), but it always bothered me having a large, exposed PCB.

A clumsy foot or random drink spillage would have killed it.

Not any more. :)

Hahaha! Definately.

A suit and handcuff attachment would be good also.

Overall, I like it! Now all you need to do is to mount an LCD monitor in an old trunk and you'll have a matching set. :kekeke:

Or an LCD monitor in the lid, that folds up. :)

yeah, easy to find storage place, not to fragile.
I got a cool idea, how about using like a guitar case next time :buttrock:
I can just see it, coming over to someones house and plugging it into their tv :glee:

haha, thats odd, should make a consolized speaker mvs, would look styleish...get a good speaker cabinet that is broken, take everything in it out, leave the speaker in front, put the mvs in it, would look neat.

That would be quite good.
If you got a mono motherboard like the MV-1C and built it into a speaker. :)

You just stole my post.

Haha! It would be good!

Maybe a little over the top though.
(I don't actually own a suit.... I may have to remedy this)

Then keep a harmonica in there and wear sunglasses.

Dude, you totally have to mount a screen and speakers in the lid. It should be self-contained. I'd love to see that!

I'd totally do that...

But I'm short on briefcases.

"Bond, it'll be a while 'till the chopper arrives. Would you like me to upload Frogger to your watch?"

"No thanks, I've got all I need right here." *pulls out MVS briefcase*
