If you have been to the “market” sections of the forum, you will notice that I am selling basically all my video game related stuff. I have estimated that certain things might take longer to sell, and since I don’t want to keep around something I can or will no longer use in the future, I am thinking of starting a raffle to give it away. (Probably might start it over the weekend or early next week).

With polling NG members, I can gauge who is interested. The main idea is really not to have anything here left around.

Any advice would be helpful, especially from more experienced members who had participated or started a raffle here. Initially I am thinking of having my Vega Jr SG and some neo games (any left around over the weekend or next week like 1. Money Idol Exchanger, View point, Blazing Star, Pulstar etc) being the prize of the raffle. I wana set up like a ‘1st prize, 2nd prize and 3rd prize kina thing.

How does this sound?

Anyone who purchased any of my recent stuff gets in free too

So far I had like 7-8 people who baught stuff from my thus far... I wana make em get in free. By Fri or Sat I should have a good idea of what I am going to put up there.

Let's say that I presented the 1st prize as a choice between (1) a boxed MV-1C MVS unit with games (to ~$200+ value) OR (2) a Vega Jr Supergun with 1 CPS2 A board...

2nd prize will be: a selection of MVS cart or carts worth $150 from a list of games that's left.

3rd prize: MVS cart or carts worth $70-$80 from whatever that's left.

As I said before, I will present what's left by Fri or sat... and anyone interested should PM me.

How much would you consider a good fee to enter such a thing? I guess it depends on how much people are interested in entering etc. What if around 30 people were to enter, would $10 be too much for an entrance fee?

I don't really know yet... if lots of people were interested I would want it to be as low as possible while making it reasonable. I am thinking of having it no higher than $10 if I get enough people interested (like around 30).
