Want to Trade: My Lynx and GBA SP (w/ 15 games) for some of your DS stuff.

ATTENTION: THE TITLE IS WRONG DUE TO THE EDIT NOT SHOWING UP CORRECTLY. THERE ARE 15 GAMES AVAILABLE.

Hey guys, I have a GBA SP, Lynx II, and 15 games to trade. I am looking to trade everything in this thread for a Nintendo DS system, and perhaps a game or two (I'd really like Mario 64 DS). I have the following games already so do not offer them to me: Nintendogs, Retro Atari Collection, Mr. Driller Drill Spirits, Ridge Racer DS. If you are located in the USA and have a DS and games to offer based on what you see, feel free to shoot me an offer via PM. SEND ME ANY OFFERS!

I have full descriptions of all the GameBoy stuff in this post, and the Lynx stuff in the next post. I hope you appreciate how much time I put into these descriptions :).

Short list of everything: Two consoles, fifteen games :D.
Detailed list of everything:
(note: indentation marks=those small scratches that occur if something presses against something and leaves a mark)

GameBoy Hardware:
Gameboy Advance SP system (Cobalt color): Includes box, charger, plastic document sleeve, manual, precautions booklet, Game Boy Player booklet, Nintendo Power booklet, registration form.
System: 6/10 (screen is PRISTINE, not a scratch, no dust or dead pixels! Top of system (when closed) has lots of small scratches and wear marks, back labels have some wear and indentation marks, some insertion marks at cartridge port, slight scratches on battery cover, miniscule scratch marks on left and right sides; when open, the inside has some very small scratch spots (just a dot, not a line), some short wear marks on the plastic of the SP on both sides of the screen. The system plays 100%, and most defects are only noticeable under strong light or when scrutinized.)
Box: 6.75/10 (Both round sealing stickers cut open with X-acto knife, small tearing on one flap, long crease along top of front, slight wear marks on front)
Charger: 7.5/10 (some small scratches)
Plastic document sleeve: 7.5/10 (slightly wrinkled)
Manual: 9.5/10 (slight bend mark on front)
Precautions booklet: 8.75/10 (slightly wrinkled)
Game Boy Player booklet: 9.5/10 (slight bend in back's upper left corner)
Nintendo Power booklet: 7.5/10 (bend marks)
Registration card: 9.75/10 (slightly bent upward on left side of fold (try putting it under a book)

Naki Headphone Adapter: Loose with headphone case (headphones not included (they were crap anyhow)).
Adapter: 9/10 (slight scratch marks)
Headphone case: 5/10 (scratches all over)

Pelican GBA Link Cable (Has "GBA" and "GBC" modes, so you can link two GBAs and play either GameBoy/Color games or GameBoy Advance games): Loose.
Link Cable: 6/10 (some dirt marks)

Nintendo GameBoy Link Cable (for the oldschool GameBoy games, even has the adapter for use on an Original GameBoy (with its big port)): Loose.
Link Cable: 8/10 (some scratches)

GameBoy Advance games (USA unless noted):
Jet Grind Radio: Includes box, cardboard cartridge holder, plastic cartridge sleeve, manual, precautions booklet, Nintendo Power booklet, mini-poster.
Cartridge: 8.5/10 (slight indentation marks on label, some insertion marks)
Box: 8.75/10 (light indentation scratches on front, minor fraying of the edge of the top flap (it tucks into the box anyway...))
Cardboard cartridge holder: 10/10
Plastic cartridge sleeve: 6/10 (wrinkled)
Manual: 6/10 (some wrinkling, bending and folding. Flattening it under a book may help this)
Precautions booklet: 9.5/10 (slight indentation marks, minor fraying at corners)
Nintendo Power booklet: 8/10 (some folding at the top, not too noticeable)
Mini-poster: 9.5/10 (slight indentation marks, minor fraying at corners)

(JAPANESE) Super Mario Advance: Includes box, cardboard cartridge holder, plastic cartridge sleeve, manual, cartridge cleaning guide.
Cartridge: 7/10 (indentation marks on label, some insertion marks)
Box: 7/10 (some minor wear marks, some scratches, some indentation marks, minor fraying at corners)
Cardboard cartridge holder: 9/10 (some scratches)
Plastic cartridge sleeve: 6/10 (wrinkled)
Manual: 7/10 (slightly bent at the spine, small dirt mark near spine on back)
Cartridge cleaning guide: 7/10 (small fold marks at bottom, tiny fold mark at top)

Advance Wars: Includes box, cardboard cartridge holder, manual.
Cartridge: 7/10 (indentation marks on label, some insertion marks)
Box: 7/10 (indentation scratches on front, minor fraying of the edge of the top flap (it tucks into the box anyway...), top flaps sort of worn)
Cardboard cartridge holder: 9/10 (slight wear near bottom of the front)
Manual: 5.75/10 (wrinkled and creased at cover, worn near staple, some pages slightly wrinklked)

GameBoy and GameBoy Color games (USA unless noted):
Pokemon Yellow: Loose.
Cartridge: 6/10 (Indentation marks, some dirt marks, indentation marks on label)

Game and Watch Gallery 2: Loose.
Cartridge: 7/10 (Some indentation marks, some insertion marks)

(note: next two descriptions are copied from an old post I made, so they're not exactly itemized/rated like the above)
(JAPANESE) DragonBall Z: Goku Hishouden (never released outside Japan! Was very rare during the height of DBZ's popularity): Includes plastic cartridge insert, clamshell cartridge case, box, and manual.
Description: The manual is scuffed in a vertical line on the left side, but the other stuff is in much better condition- the box is still stiff, with some slight wear, and the cartridge and case are fine and dandy (the cartridge has insertion marks).

(JAPANESE) Pocket Monster Card GB (Japanese version of Pokemon Trading Card Game GB): Includes plastic cartridge insert, clamshell cartridge case, box, manual, Dragonite card (unopened), flyer for GameBoy Camera, flyer for GameBoy color, and registration card.
Description: Box is well worn (but in one piece), manual's kinda scuffed, plastic insert is kinda crushed. Everything else is like new, except the cartridge has some insertion marks.

(CONTINUED FROM FIRST POST)

Lynx hardware:
Atari Lynx II Console: Loose.
Console: 8.75/10 (WOW. It's almost like you got it new. The screen's cover has some hairline scratches, and two minor scuff marks, but when a game is on you don't notice. They're hard to notice in the first place, unless you tilt the system and look at the reflection of light at different angles. There is a small amount of dust under the screen cover, but it is possible to open the screen cover and remove the dust (check around online for guides). The dust does not hinder gameplay at all. The only other main problem is that the serial number sticker is completely unreadable. Other than that, there are only a few visible but minor scratches on the screen cover (but not the part above the screen). It is actually possible to buy a replacement screen cover (I've seen them on eBay). There aren't even any insertion marks in the cartridge slot. The controls are completely responsive; it plays 100%. If you were to replace the screen cover, the system would be mint, save for the sticker that would wear away from your hands touching it anyway.)

Atari Lynx Official Soft Carry Case: Loose.
Carry Case: 9.75/10 (Just like the Lynx, this looks almost new. The only real problems with it are a few loose threads here and there (which may have been present when it left the factory); one can easily cut those small loose ends away and have it look fantastic. The most noticeable thread is in the belt loop on the back (and who looks at the back, anyhow?). The case is very durable. It is of nylon construction, with a plush cloth interior. I've used this case to hold the Lynx with a cartridge in it, and seven additional cartridges split between the two cartridge pouches; perhaps it could hold more!)

Radio Shack 9V 800mA AC Adapter: Loose.
AC Adapter: 10/10 (No scratches or dirt. The plug that enters the Lynx sticks out a bit due to it being a bit tall (still works 100%). An AC adapter is a true necessity for any Lynx owner; we all know how those early 90's color handhelds ate batteries! Cord is about 6 feet long. I might add that this adapter set me back $20 from Rip-off Shack-----erm, you know what I mean :).)

4 Rechargeable batteries:Loose.
Batteries: NA/10 (Untested; seller included them with the Lynx. They probably work. Label reads: "COLLETT 2000/1.2V 1200MAH/MADE IN CHINA PB1")

Lynx games (Note: Like all Lynx carts, these cartridges have that weird square visible in the plastic on the back, and a strange design on the label when light reflects off of it. All cartridges have the J-shaped grip, except for Chip's Challenge, which has the two-line grip.):
APB (AKA All Points Bulletin): Loose.
Cartridge: 9.5/10 (some light insertion marks)

RoadBlasters: Includes box, manual, warranty card.
Cartridge: 7.5/10 (Has minor wear on the label, has slight imprint of cartridge pins on the back.)
Box: 6.75/10 (Has overall wear, including fraying of edges, indentation marks, and bend marks. Cartridge holder inside is a bit scuffed. Still sturdy.)
Manual: 7/10 (Has minor bends, corners bend slightly to one side)
Warranty card: 9/10 (Has minor dent on top near edge, slight warping)

Xybots: Includes box, manual/poster, warranty card.
Cartridge: 9/10 (Extremely minor imprint of cartridge pins on the back)
Box: 7/10 (Top flap's part that tucks in is bent from opening, top tabs are slightly worn, tiny hole on back (beneath the "s" in "warriors"), minor fold and indentation mark at barcode, cartridge holder a bit worn)
Manual/poster: 9/10 (small fold marks, miniscule wear to corners)
Warranty card: 9.5/10 (small dents on edge)

Crystal Mines II: Includes box, manual, warranty card.
Cartridge: 9.75/10 (small indentation mark on label)
Box: 9/10 (small bend marks and slight edge wear on top flap's part that tucks in, front slightly dented in, small amount of wear on cartridge holder)
Manual: 8.75/10 (back has three small dirt spots, front has small mark near bottom staple)
Warranty Card: 9.75/10 (minor corner wear)

Steel Talons: Includes box, manual, warranty card.
Cartridge: 9/10 (Extremely minor imprint of cartridge pins on the back)
Box: 8.25/10 (Top flap that tucks in has bend from opening, slight indentation marks, small wear on cartridge holder)
Manual: 9/10 (small dents marks in front)
Warranty Card: 9.75/10 (minor corner wear)

Tournament Cyberball: Includes box, manual/poster, warranty card.
Cartridge: 9.75/10 (Minor plastic defect on top)
Box: 8/10 (Top flap that tucks in has bend from opening and edge wear, small wear on cartridge holder, small dirt mark on top, slight denting)
Manual/poster: 8/10 (folds have minor edge wear, some bending, corner wear)
Warranty Card: 8/10 (minor corner wear, bend mark in one corner)

Kung Food: Includes box, manual, warranty card.
Cartridge: 9/10 (faint scratch marks on label)
Box: 8.5/10 (small crease on top flap that tucks in, small dent in bottom left corner
Manual: 9/10 (minor corner wear)
Warranty Card: 9.75/10 (minor corner wear)

Chip's Challenge: Includes box, manual, warranty card.
Cartridge: 7/10 (cartridge pin marks on back, scratch marks on back)
Box: 9/10 (small dirt mark on back, top flap slightly out of shape, small wear near the Y in LYNX on the front)
Manual: 8/10 (slightly bent, medium dirt mark on back)
Warranty Card: 9.75/10 (minor corner wear)

BUMP!

The following two games are no longer available:

Lunar Legend: Includes box, cardboard cartridge holder, plastic cartridge sleeve, manual, precautions booklet, Nintendo Power booklet.
Cartridge: 7/10 (indentation marks on label, some insertion marks)
Box: 5/10 (The only reason it's in such low condition is it has a Gamestop price sticker in the upper right corner of the top. It may be possible to remove it, it is up to you. Other than that, nearly no indentation marks! Slight wear in top right corner of the front. Very slight fraying on the left side of the edge of the top flap)
Cardboard cartridge holder: 10/10
Plastic cardboard sleeve: 6/10 (wrinkled)
Manual: 8.75/10 (slight wear along spine, minor fold mark in center of the front cover's right edge, minor wear on one corner)
Precautions booklet: 8.5/10 (slightly wrinkled, minor corner wear)
Nintendo Power booklet: 9.5/10 (slight speck of dirt above the second A in "Advance" on the logo on the back cover)

Gradius Galaxies: Loose.
Cartridge: 5/10 (label is worn along top, and upper right and left, exposing white paper underneath, fading on Seal of Quality, mark on Konami logo, worn in center of "08" indentation above the Seal of Quality)

Wow, seriously dude, dont trade ALL that just for a DS. I picked up a DS on ebay for 114 bucks shipped, and i feel like your loot is worth a lot more than that.

Keep your stuff, and save some money. :mr_t:

Well, a trade is clean. I send, he sends, we both get what we want at the speed of USPS. Whereas with straight-out selling, I have to haggle about prices with the buyer, wait for the ds to go on sale, then buy it.

Also, I really really want a DS. To me it's worth it; all the games here are games I never play anymore or games I've already beaten. So, I'm trading away games that don't get played enough to warrant keeping them lying around, someone else gets to play a good selection of games, I get my DS, everyone wins.
