Hi Guys,
Thought I'd post my cab. Apparently when I bought it I was told it was a limited trial run in Australia for this 20" cabinet, I've only seen one other like it...

All that needs to be done is getting the dam coin mech working!!

Nice, better than the standard Aussie cabs too. What are the red and yellow buttons for though? I'm guessing one is start, but what is the other? I thought they may be game select, but isn't the big square button for that?

The red buttons are indeed Start, while the yellow buttons are Credit.
THe Square is for game select.

Did you buy this from Game Infinity - No, got it from Arcade-80s

Did anyone else but me catch that "$3 A person to Start, $3 To Continue" sticker on his cab? DAMN  *During the Arcade Boom of the 90's the most a single game ever costs on a Neo:Geo cab (at least in San Antonio Texas) was 50cents to start and another 50 to continue. Me wonders just how profitable the arcade that upright was originally in was?

That is a beaut of a cab. I too have to wonder how much play that saw at 3 bones a pop. I do like the huge door on the bottom though. Overall its well designed.

LOL, you guys made me laugh on this...
I bought a whole bunch of Arcade type stickers from E-bay, it was mix bag of all sorts, and thought that this ticker looked pretty cool (glow in the dark) so I used them on my cab, origanlly it had none on it when I had it!!

I doubt it was ever that much...

Really tight cab you have there, buddy.

Here's my Aussie 4-slot. Got it from Highway.

Sweet guys,
ttooddddyy, looks like your CP is the same as mine, if interested I made a vector in Illustrator of the CP.
That's why mine is excellent condition, had it printed on Mat PVC (same material as original)

Pando, there the only ones I've seen after buying mine, I love the looks of those, yours too looks mint.

I've got a problem where all my harnesses are connected including the coin mech, but it isn't working. No power getting to it, is there a trick or something that needs to be done to get it working...
Can post pics of inside if that helps?

Yes please, do you have a link, or email it to parry@datec.com.pg
You will notice on my cabs the front top edges of the control panels are worn.

Do you have the coin mech encoder pcb mounted on the inside of the door, I had some intermittent coin mech problems caused by loose connections from the encoder pcb to the mech itself, also check that you have the vcc on that sub board.

Email is on it's way, if you live in Australia, the company I got it done said if I want any more printed it will be cheaper as the now have it on file (cost $160, for one, but they ended up giving me two) so I guess it would have to be around $100 mark???

Here's my coin mech pics, one thing I now, I've measured the orange and black wires and have got no reading from that..

OK thanks for that.

You should have 12 volts on the orange wires, there is a 7805 regulator for the 5 volt vcc on the coin mech encoder board.

The validator is a 8 coin Coin-Controls model C230/5 (made in UK), im not sure if these are standard issue on other L&A cabs, but both mine are fitted with them.
There should be 12 volts on pin #9 of the plug to the coin mech/validator.

Hope this helps

Pacific cabinet dimensions

Hi,

I really like the pacific neo-geo cabinets but unfortunately, I cannot get a hold of such a cabinet here in Europe (Belgium). Therefore, I decided to build my own cabinet based on the original. This is easier said than done, if been looking for weeks now to get hold of the cabinet dimensions for the 4 and 6 slot version but without success. Is there anyone around who could provide me with those details?

Thanks in advance,

Marvel.
